I bought two of these as I had a specific space to fit in my garage. First to note, yes the wood is lightweight but I'm keeping these indoors for guinea pigs so don't have to worry about that. For the money they're excellent. It took me an hour and half to put the first one together (haven't fixed rooves down, just lay them on top - don't need top access) and an hour and a quarter to put the second one together.I spent the previous evening reading the instructions and sorting through the bits in plastic bags. My usual stunt is to think I've got the gist of the instructions and then go off half cock and have to take it apart again. But household/kids duties meant it was 8 o clock before I could turn to it so decided to spend the evening looking at the instructions.And the next day, voila! Success, really pleased with myself.Top tips: Use an electric screwdriver, put the bolts on the doors last, not first (tape the doors shut to stop them swinging whilst you're putting it together).Work out what's what and label each panel/piece with a piece of masking tape (the top and bottom front sections are different from the inside) or whatever so you can just grab the next bit when you're ready for it rather than working it out again every 5 mins!I'm not a DIY expert, just a 53yr old Mum working it out but I did find 'how to' videos on You Tube (even for a different make of similar cage really helpful).

Oh my goodness - the instructions! They are literally only good for fire kindling. Most of the parts were in good condition, only a couple of bits were damaged but they are hidden and the parts damaged do not affect the integrity of the cage. Not as sturdy as I would like so we have had to reinforce it. Our rabbit likes to do his business in the corner of the cage and as there is a small gap at the back where the tray slides in, it dribbles down the side which really isn't very nice. I don't think it is totally worth the money, but it was one of the most affordable online for the style we wanted.

Cage looks good. It's nice for outside. I keep my cage inside the room. Rabbits make a mess around cage. Woodflakes easily come out from cage and also it goes between little gaps in cage, I can't really clean it... Trays are not deep enough and it's not made from plastic inside, but it's made from metal. It got dark grey and black.Unfortunately my rabbits like to eat that cage, so liquid can leak from wooden sides of tray. (I'm gonna buy toilet for rabbits)Part which supposed to keep little ladder was broken when cage arrived, screws was helpful to keep it right place.

This was a little bit difficult to build and some parts are a bit flimsy. Not warm enough to use outdoors in winter without additional insulation. Ramp between floors is a bit steep and the guinea pigs didn't seem to want to use it.

I wanted this for 2 poorly bantams who needed to be kept away from the flock. It's perfect! Easy to put together and well made. The Gals are very pleased to have somewhere nice to convalesce!

Arrived earlier than expected. Beautiful quality wood and design only one downside, could not get the ladder to fit, so not used but would still highly recommend to those requiring 2 separate hutches because very good value for money.

nice and sturdy, my piggies love it, the only problems i have are 1) top tray comes away from the back at times leaving a little gap, piggies havent got their feet stuck down it as of yet but i do worry about this happening and 2) the divider is quite loose, have to put a pice of card at the top to make fot securelyother than that a great buy
