Adele

I read thru this book quickly. It was interesting and entertaining revealing more about her childhood. She has always been a victor, not a victim. I admire her and her lovely voice.

Our granddaughters are big Adele fans and this book hit the spot!

This is a detailed and fascinating read that is a real page turner giving you a real insight into the artist - especially about Adele’s early life. I'm a BIG fan of her music but warmed to her as a person when I saw her perform in her recent Australian tour and now even more so after reading her story that Sean Smith has so eloquently and easily drawn out for the reader.Overall this a great read, full of insightful anecdotes and information about what it really takes to make it in this competitive and very stereotypical industry. Through reading this I felt as if I really understood her drive to succeed and have a deeper appreciation of her musical ability and tenacity. It's not all serious, in fact I often found myself chuckling throughout - as it's funny, just like the talented lady. Highly Recommended. I am a verified purchaser in Australia.

I found this book very interesting. Sean Smith captures Adele’s story very well. With a good layout and easy to read chapters. With each chapter being different from each other really does pull you into the book.I started this book not knowing anything about Adele other then her music, and found it interesting to hear how her up bringing was, and also her ups and downs to get to where she is now.It was interesting to hear about Adele at the music school when she was younger and the famous people she had contact with including Amy Winehouse. Hearing about Adele’s drinking problems during her life and the struggles she had, really does make her feel like a real star and not just a celebrity. I found it a little slow in the middle but picked up again in the end.If you love her music it’s a must read.

Great to read about Adele, I was not keen however when the book drifted off onto others and their circumstances, so flipped through those bits quickly, overall brilliant though!
