We have a 2-part commercial door (3-foot active door and 4-foot inactive door with internal flush bolts that release when active door is open. The internal mechanism on the inactive door failed, and a local commercial door repair company quoted me $800 for a new internal mechanism including installation. I found this well-made, reasonably-priced product in 304 stainless on Amazon that came in pairs, so I installed one each on the interior top, and interior bottom, of my inactive door. My inactive door is "rock-solid closed" when the latches are extended, and easy to open by flipping the levers to retract the bolts. I have $790 more in my pocket than if I'd hired the door company and the latches are functional, affordable, and nice to look at. Very happy.

I used these on a double door I made for a shed. In order to have a functioning doorknob I needed to make sure that the other, non-knob door stayed fixed closed. I had looked a different hardware that is mounted to the inside of the non-knob door, but it all looked bulky and like it would get in the way. These get mortised into the edge of the door and include a spring that positively open or closes them - no chance of them falling into the wrong position. They are completely stainless steel and nice, thick construction. I was really happy with how they install and operate. This is a great value & I highly recommend them!

I have a customer with the standard Anderson latches that don’t keep the fixed storm door in place. The latches were worn and wouldn’t stay engaged, also the upper and lower insertion points were a bit farther away.While it may not be the intended application for these, they worked perfectly as a replacement. I installed these upper and lower and she is so happy she gave me two larger jobs!!Very good quality, stainless steel, positive engagement and release, low cost. Perfect!
