    ~100% Germination Rate

*by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2019*

Rookie gardener here, so I'll just say what I know so far:1) The package they sent contained more than 150 seeds, not 90. No complaints about this.2) Given the seed count, we decided to go for quantity over quality and planted between 2 and 4 seeds per plug across 50 Rapid Rooter plugs. I soaked the seeds in tea for about 20 minutes before planting them.3) Left them alone over a heat mat and didn't ventilate them much (no fan, one side of the Rapid Rooter vent left open but otherwise just ignored them) as it is still a little chilly in our home this time of year.3) It has been around 2 weeks and we have one or more sprouts coming out of every single plug. Some have 3 or 4 sprouts. The germination rate is phenomenal. They are growing quickly as well - will probably transplant into cups within another week.Obviously too early to rate the chilies, but these seeds far surpassed our expectations in terms of their germination rate. Reading some of the other reviews, I was worried we were going to end up with a bunch of dead seeds or something. Now I have to figure out how to get rid of 35 or so pepper plants before they get too big for our grow room...EDIT: The chilies are delicious, we got probably close to 100 in the first season. I add them to nearly everything we cook. Not a superhot but definitely a zesty flavor and spice. Definitely authentic Thai bird's eye chilies.

After 2 1/2 months they're still little sprouts.

They all germinated but 2 1/2 months later they're still little sprouts.. I live in Boulder Creek CA. I have a mostly sunny back yard . I germinated the seeds in one large pot then moved them to many pots usually 2 to 4 in a pot they are growing on my back deck. They get lots of sunlight and plenty of warmth ( though it does cool off in evenings here in California). It's been in the 90's a lot lately in the day and I never let the soil dry out much (should I?). Revised 2 months later. Turns out hot peppers start out very slow and need to dry a bit between watering. They look great now.

Good germination rate, not as spicy as expected.
