BEAR GRIP BLACK Weight Lifting Neoprene Curved Gym Belt Back Lumbar Support Fitness Exercise Bodybuilding

I've had a good few different belts in the past and this fits very well, I measured 33inch and went for the xs, the belt only just overlaps once pulled tight and the velcro feels very strong just not sure how long it will last, the extra locking system holds well enough on its own too. I'm particularly liking the extra wide back support and feels very nice on squats and deadlifts, can twist to one side when tightening up though. Overall a nice solid belt that works well for squats and deadlifts.Updated review.After using the belt twice a week (since jan 2nd) for just my deadlifts and squats am afraid to say the velcro has given up, the sticking has totally come away from the waist strap leaving a large part flapping about, it still holds well enough but I don't think it will last much long which is a shame as I've really liked using this belt.

This is my 2nd beargrips item the first being wrist wraps which I use almost everyday in the gym, the weights belt I was hesitant on due to it not being leather and using a velcro fixing system. I have only used this once so far but the design seems pretty sound, I have only given this 4 stars based on practicality as the sliding plastic clamp is a tad fiddly to release when compared to weights belts using a buckle system,the belt itself though seems well made and it if survives the beating like my wraps have then I will be very happy.

I can't rate this company high enough! Unsure of which size to purchase so I reached out to Bear grips for advice. They got back to me quickly asking for my measurements and what support I was after. They recommended the medium and this belt, even sending me the link directly to buy.The fantastic service didn't stop there! I Recieved my belt next day, well packaged, high quality and fit like a dream. Bear grips reached back out to check if they belt was the right size and explained that if it wasn't they would be happy to sort things out. Having worn my belt now in the gym I can't texplain both the level of comfort and support it gives when lifting weights. I feel my back is protected and supported with plenty of space to tighten when the weights get heavy. I love the lock on the belt, makes it so easy in between sets to release. Over all a fantastic piece of kit in my gym bag for my crossfit sessions and a company I know I will go back to time and time again thanks to not just their quality products but also their fantastic service. Fantastic Belt, great value for money, much more comfortable than using a standard belt, I was worried about how secure the straps would be for holding it on but because of the locking mechanism which is simple to use it is solid. Helped my squatting be more comfortable so I can focus on shifting more weight.

Nice and deep, this belt is tough and will last me years. Easy to buckle up with the long Velcro strap, which holds well during exercises. It is slightly longer than anticipated so I use a wide Neoprene cummerbund underneath. This makes the belt more comfortable to wear whilst keeping my lower back warm. I have used Bear Grip wrist/hand grips for years and they are great and still have years left in them.

The belt supports very well the lombar and it's well built... But the front part it's very thick and uncomfortable, when squatting or trying to do deadlift the belts just slides up

Comfortable

This belt is great for general use and reasonably heavy lifts. Some velcro belts loose grip during a lift and come loose. This has an extra piece on the buckle to thread through, this belt will never come loose during a lift. I really like this belt, it's comfortable. Been training 35 years so tried a few in my time.
