Amazon Fresh, Rwanda Ground Coffee, Light Roast, 12 Oz

This is fantastic coffee. Aldi used to sell a similar tasting light roast coffee only in the fall albeit smaller package for almost same price, but it was seasonal and sold out fast. The flavor is very smooth and exactly as described with a bit of a fruity aftertaste. I prefer it with straight half and half to not disguise the taste. Hopefully subscribing to it will keep the price reasonable and it will be available year round.

That beautiful aroma from the land of a thousand hills. Smooth and subtle, chocolatey and not harsh. If you’re used to American coffee, you might not get the strength you’re lookin for but the quality is not lacking. For me, it does the job. The sweet taste of nostalgia will keep me coming back. Worth every $… just hope the farmers get a fair share!

This coffee smells so good. It has a bit of acidity to the taste but I add milk to my coffee so it's not bad. The price is decent compared to other brands. Recommend try it.

This is a better coffee than i expected it to be. It's finely ground and works great in three different machines. The overall flavor is a hint of fruity, light and smokey, but there's no bitterness at all. I'll buy this again for sure.

Come, sit with me a moment and allow me to tell the tale of Rwanda Light Roast. I opened the bag and the smell was reminiscent of death himself riding across the river Styx in a rotting canoe. I placed roughly 7-8 tablespoons of the coffee grounds into the filter, and 25 ounces of thirst quenching water into the reservoir of my beloved machine. When it was done brewing it was so dark I couldn't see through it at all, even while I held the decanter up to bright light. I think my reaction in my video sums up the finished smell quite accurately.... I then added SIX to-go packets of coffeemate powdered creamer to 10 ounces of the coffee and it still looked like a dark roast, so I added two more. As I write this, I have taken 2 sips and it's still just sitting there, haunting me. What it lacks in citrus notes it more than makes up for with pure bitterness that I'm not sure will ever go away... and this is coming from someone who adores bitter greens in salad, and in my younger days straight espresso. It saddens me to say we have reached the end of the tale. May it forever remain in your heart of hearts and keep you up at night, because that is what coffee is for. Seriously, don't buy this product. It is really REALLY bad.

Coffee is a nice smooth/mild roast that we usually purchase as Whole Bean. The Ground version was on sale so we figured Why Not. Be Aware this is NOT!! vacuum packed/sealed so if it's been sitting on a shelf for any great length of time You Will Taste it. Honestly disappointed,to go through the process of sourcing,shipping,importing etc only to make it all pointless by not Vacuum Sealing the bags 🤦🏼‍♂️😤 Guess they have money to burn. In future we'll stick to whole bean ,as I said it is a nice mild roast 👍

I buy this coffee 3 bags at a time. I'm a 4-cup-a-day coffee drinker, and this is one of my favorites. It's smooth, not bitter, and always easy to drink.

DELICIOUS COFFEE and I feel like I am supporting liberty, community and free trade in Rwanda. It is so deserved!
