Really cute patterns. Some you will never ever make. Most of it uses just the Berroco Weekend and Comfort yarns. Would have liked a few more interesting blankets.

Grandma to be is knitting up a storm. I presume she is using the book. Knit one sip 2--cheers to all.

Delighted with this fantastic book!

This book has a variety of items to both knit and crochet. The degree of difficulty ranges from experienced to easy. Simple patterns of knit and purl, along with single, double and triple crochet helps to build skill and later allows for personalization. Other patterns with cables for both knit and crochet, lead to more confidence and more difficult items to create.

The book is awkward to handle and the photos are quite ugly reminding me of a baby book for the 30s. The colors chosen are on the dull side. I bought the book for the Darla blanket and I also like the snowflake one. There were several "onesies" which seem very old fashioned. Would a baby feel comfortable in one of those outfits? There are a few toys also. All the circular blankets use chunky yarn so they must be intended for rugs. Charts are included where needed and the instructions look quite thorough. I bought the book as a bargain book. I didn't look at the book before buying but I suggest to look before you purchase.

I only paid around $4, so if I get 1 great idea from the book, it's worth it.

I have only tried one of the patterns in this book so far and it turned out ok, but I have a some experience.I had some problems with the yarn specifics and gauge. A few more diagrams might have helped a little too. Overall, I am glad I got it.

Wonderful collection of knit and crochet items with trademark Gaughan touches and plenty of content.. Cute kids too! Blankets, bibs and clothing for all levels especially the great crochet afghan to stash bust and make your own.Highly recommended.
