Worked great as replacement for Acer Nitro 5
Acer Nitro 5 charger stopped working. Hoped it was the cable that was bad and not the laptop itself so I bought this and it worked.

I bought this charger for my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55 gaming laptop that I use(d) for streaming. For some reason my old charger had stopped being able to charge my laptop, so I was unsure if it was the battery itself or the charger. Happy to say that this charger works perfectly! And is charging my laptop. (So, now I can return the battery I purchased in case it wasn’t the charger that was the problem.) Thank you!

Doesn't quite fit
The insulation on the pin comes up too far and makes the pin too shallow to engage and actually charge the laptop. I trimmed it away with a razor blade and it stays at my dock. Made it ugly, but functional. Everything else is just fine. I took a star off for the fact that it doesn't actually fit the Acer Nitro 5 laptop out of the box.

Works perfectly on Acer Nitro.
I got this cause my daughter has a newer laptop by Acer nitro and she left her charger at her mother’s house so I got this overnighted and it worked perfectly.

Stopped working after a couple weeks
No issue when I first got it then stopped working after two weeks.

Works with the acer nitro 5 (model N20C1 or AN515-44-R99Q ).Charger does its job. Serves as a spare to leave in the home office, the primary one is used for travel. Fits the laptop charging port perfectly. Isn't as fat as the stock charger that is OEM from acer. Surprisingly is more comforting to know it not straining the port. Thanks manufacturer for a reliable functional alternative.Unless the product breaks down earlier than the 2-5yrs+ i expect to keep this laptop in service, there will be no update to this review unless it's a warranty support claim due to the charger being at fault.
