We got this to replace one the cat barfed on and therefore stained ( yuck!) because it was fabric. This one is covered in faux leather so theoretically it might not be as stainable if anything gets glopped on it. Very sturdy for this sort of thing--don't bounce up and down too much when seated on it, but I am on the --um, chunky--side and it holds me up. I keep it by the front door so I can change shoes before I go out and when I come in and it holds, at least 4 pairs --more I guess if you stack them or cram them in. Good buy and hopefully will last longer than the other one. Just wish it came in more colors--we went with the lighter one and that might be a problem washable covering and all. Some blues would be nice to go with our blue leather couch and overall beachy décor. Other than that a Great buy! Came super fast too.

I absolutely love this bench. We recently got a new puppy, and she has so many accessories that we did not have anyplace to store them. So we decided to get this ottoman bench to put at the foot of our bed to store her stuff. I am so glad we did. We didn't pay a whole lot, but it still looks and feels like really high quality. I feel like I easily would have paid a couple hundred bucks if I bought this at a furniture store. It's very sturdy, too. I'm not going to give the exact number, but I weigh a lot, and yet I feel very comfortable sitting on this bench when I do laundry, put my socks and shoes on, etc. Its much more comfortable than sitting on our super squishy bed (great for laying, not for sitting). And, this bench has enough room to store hundreds of puppy pads, her sweaters, leashes, harnesses, etc. All of it.

I cant say enough good things about this!!! I got it to replace the awful pile of shoes at my door so it was more appealing to the eye and my sanity! This is the 30in black bench. The top is a faux leather and the sides and inside are felt. Praying my kitties dont use this as a scratch post for their sake.. lol.. awesome to sit and put on boots. I even stored an umbrella and in the winter I can put my winter necessities in there. I bought a 40in in beige(different company though) for my spare room for the boots and other shoes I dont wear often. Highly recommend and in my opinion you cant beat the price! Oh, and there was NO smell AT ALL! No chemical smell or ANYTHING.

I received this ottoman when it was supposed to arrive. It was packaged really well and arrived folded up. Everything was in the box and it included an instruction sheet, but you really don't need it.The ottoman is sturdy and has a fabric piece that you set in the bottom to strengthen the shape and it has another fabric divider piece that you stand upright inside. It is beautiful, the perfect height for an ottoman, and it is strong enough to sit on. This was a great buy!

Item as described. Easy to assemble in a minute. Shipping was a bit late but it's a great storage and slick looking too. Definitely not comparable to a high end long lasting one made with wood, but if you take care of it and don't sit on it/let toddlers stand up on it or jump, I can see it having a long life. So yes, very good for storage and that alone. Even if it holds adults weight, or you want to sit and rest (which it will) it's not good for it in the long run. Specially long periods of time! I placed it at the end of my bed and put all my heels and sandals in one side and all my different shoes and boots on the other side.

I used this to put my daughters toys in at the end of my bed, it held a whole tote of toys plus stuffed animals with a little bit of room to spare, its beautiful, but I am not to sure on how strong it is to sit on it I think it will do okay just to sit, but if kids jump or flop on it I am not sure it wont hold up for long, I have not had it long, will try to update in a few months, I would buy another one if I needed one.
