The perfect stand up desk
I love this desk! The size and height are perfect. It is very sturdy. Minimalist, attractive lines. Fairly easy to assemble. I highly recommend!

Sturdy and tall
This desk was single handly the most difficult thing I have put together by myself. But if I had just one other person I imagine this desk would have been quite easy and efficient to build. But I'm not a quitter. And I finished putting it together after 3 hours at midnight. Once I fell asleep from exhaustion and woke up the next morning, I realized how nice and tall the desk is. It feels solid and very sturdy. I have been using it for a few months now and It is a quality standing desk for the price. Save yourself the time and heart ache and build this thing with a buddy. But I do recommend to anyone average height looking for a solid standing desk and a perfect level.

Good for taller person
I have wanted a standing desk that did not have adjustment for several years, problem was, most are too short. This desk at 42" is the perfect height for me to stand and do my paperwork comfortably. I am 5'10". The shelves are great since the desk top is not oversized, the shelves give me a place to put all my supplies. I bought 3 clear plastic storage bins and they fit perfectly to create drawers, making the shelves even better. This desk is sturdy but not overly heavy.Sitting at my desk for hours on end was causing me enormous amounts of pain. Now I can sit or stand at whim. I have my desks across my office so tbere is even a bit of walking involved. My work day is so much better now! Icannot praise this desk enough. My desk was a little damaged in shipping, one leg got crushed and one corner of the table top dinged, but I really needed to be able to stand for part of my day at work, and who knows if shipping would just damage another, so I chose not to take it out on the company who created it. The desk still went together just fine and works perfectly, just has a bit of its own personality.

Survived skidding across an intersection off the back of a moving trailer
EDIT: The original desk that I bought in 2017 from Staples took a tumble across an intersection off the back of a moving trailer going about 40mph. It skidded across the road and landed by the sidewalk. The worst that happened was the lowest shelf fell off and one of the other shelves got a little crooked, and the top of the desk itself did get scratched and 2 of the corners got a nice sanding, but the damn thing is still standing. It's still at 4 stars though, because the one I got from amazon was a pain to assemble, but other than that, this desk is worth it!Original: I originally bought this model desk at staples for full price around 2017, and loved it so much I wanted to buy another. I finally found the desk online, added it to my Amazon list and waited for literal years until the price dropped to under $100. It dropped to $50 in early 2023 so I bought it.The package arrived fine from amazon, however as I started going through the contents of the box, I noticed there was no hardware. The bag with screws did not make it into the package. I contacted Ameriwood and requested a new bag of hardware. It came in quickly, and I started to build my desk again. Each step then became it's own adventure. The pre-drilled holes in the desk? Wrong size OR the location did not match. Had to drill my own holes for part of the desk. I did not have ANY of these issues the first time I built the desk years ago, so I'm guessing amazon might have a stockpile of the desks that are missing something or were not pre-manufactured correctly.PRO: Sturdy desk, has lasted me since 2017 and survived falling off a moving trailer. Ameriwood was responsive in sending the hardware that was missing from the second desk purchase.CON: Desk purchased from Amazon as opposed to the first one I got from Staples was a hassle to assemble with missing hardware and required extra drilling.

Sturdy Standing Station
I needed a standing desk for a kiosk like area and I found this desk that was both aesthetically pleasing and functional as much more affordable than other options. I would have liked it in a lighter color but dark is just fine as well. Once assembled, this desk has been quite sturdy but I haven't filled all the shelves yet.Speaking of that - assembly could have been better. The shelfs should have stickers to mark the front since the holes are asymmetrical. Also, the order of assembly didn't feel right or intuitive. I can easily see it assembled in the wrong order. I also didn't like some of the fastenings - especially the shelves as those seemed weak. Perhaps cross beams instead and then screw the shelf onto the cross beams. Aligning the shelves took most of the effort so improved design would have sped up the assembly and made it much easier for one person.

Just what I needed
Good desk, you can assemble by yourself if you’ve done Ikea-like furniture before and instructions clear (except for one part). Fits my laptop, docking station, and extra monitor just fine.Biggest issue during assembly was discovering that screw holes for shelves are staggered and must be lined up with the shelf before screwing. (I screwed in the first shelf wrong before I figured it out). It would be nice if they has arrows indicating where the front was for each shelf. But it’s not that big of a deal. Also, I would recommend assembling with a friend since screwing on the shelves while holding alone can be difficult. But that’s not really their problem.

Sturdy & compact tall table
This is a compact , sturdy, tall desk for the price.. fits into the limited space I have in my room.. Plus, doesn't wobble or shake the monitor when I type. It fit my 34 inch monitor and had little some space on either side and my printer fit right into the bottom shelf.. Took a while to assemble, and did not fully screw all the screws till the very end, which helps with the alignment and final assembly..Wish foot rest was a little higher, and wish they made a bigger version of table (around 30"X60") at the same height (42") , in addition to this one...
