Bradley Smoker Heating Element Replacement for Electric Smokers White

The replacement heat bar for my Bradley Smoker arrived as promised - this is the second bar I have bought recently - I note that heater bars for this smoker have a short life!!

Hey guys it’s a direct replacement with 7mm nuts on each end. There is a clamp on the RHS that needs to be undone before it can be removed but works well once hooked up and does what it should.

So, I'm thinking, it must be my bad luck to have the heating element go kaput so soon, as in a scant 20 smoking events. Maybe the shipper dropped it and caused this tidbit to crack. That's when I popped the back to look for anything loose: nada, and everything is held in place by 2 inch thick sheet of insulating styrofoam, nothing moves. The circuitry is simple and all point to point; that's not it. Then I read about the experience of fellow Bradley Smoker owners and their temperamental heating elements. When I saw that one soul had his go belly up after a couple of uses, I figured I was lucky. Then it seems these items don't last long anyway, so I'm resigned to visiting Amazon for replacements. Amazon comes through. This heat bar works and is a lifesaver. I was using my grill to cook and finish the goodies I had smoked in my Bradley Smoker, because without the heat bar you'll take a half hour to get to 135 degrees and that's it inside the smoker. After a couple hours for flavor you have to cook the goodies on the grill. So, back to normal, set your temps and walk away. Just make sure you get in the habit of cleaning with hot water and suds because the real heat makes the smoking residue bake onto the surface. If you let all that residue and accumulated juices and grease simply grow in there, well, it's combustible with enough slop and you get action that looks like it was detonated. Yup, the Bradley Smoker is, as I've discovered by poking around its innards, very well insulated, double walled, and easy to "fix." It can not only attain temperatures, but hold them steady because of all this hidden construction. So, I second the motion on getting a spare heat bar, the rest of the smoker is willing if you got the heat.

Direct replacement worked perfectly

Ordered replacement Heat element at 9:30 pm. Was delivered to my door in just over 18 hrs. Impressive!!Took about 30 min to install new element. Plugged smoker back in and the new element was glowing Cherry red in under 5 min. easy fit.Only dislike was that Bradley needs to offer instructions on "how to replace" parts. I have bought directly form them recently..And neither this purchase of the one directly from the company offer any instructions.So if you not a DIY kinda person, you might have issues

Installed with out taking the back off...A little more difficult because you don't want to pull on any of the wires. Only a couple three tools needed, 7mm wrench for element ends and a 7 mm deep socket for the heating element clamp (on mine was on right side of element) and a phillips screw driver. Fit perfectly and now it works like it should again. I did buy 2 so I could have a back up element because I sure do like my Bradley Smoker!!
