Very surprised from Rockville
Fantastic for the price! The “heat sync” on the back is plastic so purely for aesthetic. Other than that, professional and quality build with a good punch to it. Built-in high frequency cutoff can not be turned off or controlled. Sounds like it’s probably set to 80-100hz. Has a switch to invert phase. And a switch to add a bump to the 50hz range. Professional and consumer connectors with options for XLR, TRS and RCA. Grill in the front is metal. Chassis is plywood with a durable rough-touch coating similar to a truck bed liner. Volume is enough to add to small live performances (20-50 people). Very comparable to a QSC KS112 which is outstanding for the cost! Will have to wait and see how the amp holds up longevity wise

A solid compact sub
Let me start by saying that I don't think this sub has enough reviews as it should. I took a chance with this and I don't regret it all all. I bought this to pair with 2 Alto Buskers. This thing really surprised me to say the least. It gets lower than I expected 8" woofers to go. This is ideal for a small indoor or outdoor event. I can reduce my storage and transport footprint and still maintain good sound quality with this. This build quality is solid. I'll buy a few more to add to my assortment for scalability. It would be unfair to compare these to 18s or 21 since those sizes move a lot more air.

Rockville's redemption subwoofer!!
The media could not be loaded. I had a feeling that these might be different from the rest as they are a new item to the Rockville lineup containing duel 8" woofers, and boy was right!! They bang with deep chest pounding thump. I'm running 4 soundboks 3's and added 4 d8 titan subs and let me tell you 😉...... this mofo system is a monster and all that was needed was a line level pramp to boost the aux signal from the soundboks to the first sub in series. I'm running stereo and with the preamps to dial in the right amount of sub volume, these babies are just what the doctor ordered for big ole booty-shaking bass!!! 👌

Does not have dual handles
For the size this is a really nice subwoofer, well built, good sound, I would have given it five stars, but it says it has dual handles, it does not....It has one handle on one side only....Which means it's awkward to carry.....Very misleading advertising....

Great for small rooms
Great for small rooms. Just enough low end to match my 8” JBL PA speakers

This sub hits for the price point
I am a 31 year DJ veteran. (47 YO) and operate an entertainment company servicing the East & South/East Coast. I have played with everything from crown amp/yamaha speaker configurations to Bass Boss/QSC KS118 powered setups so I am speaking on the value of this subwoofer. I have not validated the rated numbers for SPL or anything, but I can tell you that it hits pretty good for the price point. I’m liking the two 8” Titan Speakers and magnet configuration; the box is super lite yet sturdy/solid w/ a small footprint; it can be sat vertically or horizontally; the handle is legend and it has basic controller on the back with all you need like an XLR in/out. I will likely purchase more in the near future because they are easily stackable and can come in white. Recommend for wedding ceremonies paired with Alti busker speakers or Mackie go Thump speakers for guest count up to 150.

Works well as a home stereo subwoofer
I realize this is intended for use as PA subwoofer, but after searching for a compact home stereo subwoofer that would fit in my shelving unit I chose this dual 8 inch model. It works very well in this application. It is loud enough to keep up with my tri-amped speakers without getting warm. At this price, I was not expecting audiophile quality, but was surprised how well it blends with the rest of my system. There are much more expensive subwoofer options out there that may work better in this application, but for the price this is a good fit in my system.

Very impressed
Way better than I imagined. I bought the dual 8" and am blown away. You're not going to play any large venue work this but for smaller parties or large garages it's great. The bass is punchy with a tight and deep sound. No humming or buzz when they're idle. Would definitely buy again (actually ordered 2 more)
