Now that I’ve had the opportunity to really use this, I must say that this is quite genius. This backdrop came in 3 separate pieces with prongs to hold it all together. It was super easy and self explanatory to put together so I didn’t waste any time there. It also came with numerous backdrop (slide) options allowing you the ability to switch them out to align with branding. The backdrops are thick, sturdy and flexible making it easy to adjust as needed. The marble option is my favorite! I also can’t forget the shadowing forms that were included to help you cast an amazing shadow effect in your images. The entire kit came in its own over the shoulder bag making it all so super easy to transport. This kit came in clutch for a content day and I cannot wait to use it again. 10/10 across the board and entirely worth it.

This is a well built item that I think is appropriate for anyone that needs to do product photography with smaller items. The background is a cardboard base that flips open with plastic support clips, and then the cardboard backdrops clip on to create the seamless. look. The quality is good. I think using the two included pattern for shadows will take a learning curve to master, but it’s a nice touch. If there is a limitation to this, it’s that you do not have access to the same color for the top and the bottom, so that means you must use two different colors or a color with a texture. I don’t think this is a dealbreaker, but just something to keep in mind as you are shopping around. But because it is sturdy and if you need a singular color, you simply could clip in a posterboard right over top of the frame they give you, so that could be a solution that would cost you under two dollars. I’m impressed with some of the textures because that’s something that I do lack in my kit already. It might be small for a lot of the products that I photograph, but I’ll use it when I can. Picture shot wide angle so the size is distorted in my photo.

It has white matte on one side and black matte on the other, instead of the usual white/white and black/silver combination. While a reflective silver panel can be useful for some lighting setups, it's not a major loss here since you primarily need the board to hold the backdrops. However, these matte boards tend to scuff easily, and the lack of black backdrops in the kit might disappoint some users. (Although, some gray and textured options are nearly black.)╭⋆📸⋆⭒˚｡ ⋆✴︎˚｡⋆──╮SHADOW PROPS╰─⋆⭒˚｡ ⋆✴︎˚｡⋆ 📸⋆⭒╯Now, the shadow props are a cool feature, but those feet! They're super delicate and barely fit onto the boards. I actually broke one just trying to take it off – the very FIRST time I used it—which is extremely╭⋆📸⋆⭒˚｡ ⋆✴︎˚｡⋆──╮CARRYING BAG╰─⋆⭒˚｡ ⋆✴︎˚｡⋆ 📸⋆⭒╯The kit comes with a carrying bag, although it's more like a simple tote bag without a zipper or protective features.╭⋆📸⋆⭒˚｡ ⋆✴︎˚｡⋆──╮OVERALL╰─⋆⭒˚｡ ⋆✴︎˚｡⋆ 📸⋆⭒╯Despite the drawbacks with the shadow prop feet, this kit offers a good selection of backdrops and a secure setup for product photography. I really like the L-brackets and am excited to play with the shadow boards.

This is such a cool set, but there's one critical flaw so I'll dive right into that:You need two sheets to make the backdrop - one for the "floor" and one for the "wall".This comes with one of each color. This means you cannot have a solid-black-everywhere background. Or whatever you're using, it doesn't matter - the floor and wall will have to be different colors. Look at the photos closely: there are no pictures of an "all red" background - those are two different shades of red. Same for all the others.Now, there is a lot to like going on here - the light-shadow-casting grids (two different ones) are really cool. The way this system sets up and packs down flat: also really cool.The bag that came with it? That's a joke. It's just a standard canvas grocery bag deal. I'll just be keeping it in the box until I make/find something better.I really like the backgrounds themselves - they're thick, almost plasticky but without being shiny. The variety is great, and the print is vivid and even.This is really, really close to being an awesome five-star product. But not having two of each color is a huge miss, IMO.Charge a few dollars more and include two sets of the backgrounds, if you're listening.

This set is excellent for a novice photographer. I was really impressed with the number of items that comes in the little set, especially the considering the price. I never even though about using a "blind" to add interesting shadows to product photos! Everything is of good quality for someone not expecting a professional studio-grade set.

Great and easy to setup and use to create visual interest for your product photography. It is sturdy and should holdup over several uses.
