Gemini Build-A-Block Patchwork System

The gemini block and build quilting set is used with the gemini cutter and embosser machine.The gemini build a block set that I purchased has a set of squares , half square triangles and quarter square triangles. These are in different sizes to make different size blocks .It arrived neatly packaged , on time and safely.The dies are in a lovely storage box so you can't lose them with the size guides .There are a set of instructions in a booklet that are clear and concise .I was able to cut out a set of eight (8) half square triangles no problem all , in one go .It takes very little time to make blocks because the cutting is so accurate and clean .A very well worth set .I shall buy other sets when I can to expand my collection of dies .

I enjoyed a lot using this Build-A-Block Patchwork System from Gemini, and I’m very pleased with the quality. Definitely recommended if you love crafting and patch working projects.

This set is fabulous......I am soo pleased I got it. For 18 dies it is good value for money and you have no storage worries as the box has drawers and they live in there safe and sound.I feccommend this to anyone doing patchwork.

Really love these dies, makes quilting so mush faster and certainly much easier to piece together as they fit like gloves to each other can't praise them enough.

I use these to cut squares and half-squares for quilting patterns (I can't seem to cut accurately with scissors or a cutter). It's not super fast, and my most used square has been bent out of shape (I think my fault for trying to cut too much) but this is a lovely set to have as it looks quite cute and includes very useful basic patterns and instructions.

Works brilliantly with the Gemini Die Cutting machine. Saves lots of time as it can cut through 4-6 layers of cotton (depending on thickness). Makes cutting fabric easier and more precise measurements can be achieved. The onky thing I would like is for the cut edges to be pinked rather than straight but that's probably a personal preference.

Great to use as my cutting is not always accurate. A bit expensive though cheaper that Gemini sites

To get all the plates you need you have to buy both the 18 box and the 14 box some of the cutters you will never use for quilting

Cutters are great it is the plates that get warped up so bad

This is the second time I have ordered this and had to return it as it was missing one die. First die was the 2.5 inch triangle and 2nd time it was the 2 inch Triangle. Not impressed it was missing parts when I paid for a full set. It it had been completed I would have rated it more highly. I suspect the box was already a return as it did not have the seals on it like the first box.I ordered a Gemini Build a Block curves fabric die set and it was fine.
