So I love this book. I've been doing research online using Pinterest for a few years now and have compiled a huge number of pictures and references, but this summarizes all that work I've done for myself very well. This is NOT a How-To book. While there are hints and tips on how to purchase a bus, what to look for, and some things you will need to do to make the bus livable, as well as hints, tips and suggestions from home-bus owners, this will not tell you how to remodel the bus. Beautiful reference pictures, great hints and tips, and some floor plans are what is in this book. As someone who dearly wants to build a house-bus, I love this book. However, I will be purchasing books on how to frame/insulate, install windows, and electric/plumbing, or harass friends with those skills into helping me.

This book covers a nice collection of bus conversions with some decent photography though the images dont rise above really good snap shots. The interviews are well done and interesting but the blurbs that come before feel very repetitive if you have any knowledge of "Schoolie" culture and life.A nice book and well worth a look.
