I bought this for my five-year-old great nephew he loves pirate ships. His mother told me that he had several ships, but none of them are alike so that turned out to be a good thing.

Yes it’s cheap so expect to get a cheap toy. It’s not badly made though. My son has not broken a piece on it yet. Overall it was well worth the money for a toy I know my son will probably only play with for a couple months.

I have a two-year-old. That is very rough with toys. This pirate ship seems to be better as may be a cake topper or just on display the pieces do pop off very easily. My son loves it so much that I’m willing to superglue the pieces that come off easily so that he can continue to enjoy it. it’s lightweight in the bath it does not float, but he still likes to bring it in the bath with him. The pieces that come off can be a choking hazard so that’s something to be aware of if your child puts things in their mouth. I did end up finding a different pirate ship and I was planning on returning this one but my son does it so we are keeping it super gluing any of the loose parts.

Others should know this isn’t a toy for anyone under 5 it started breaking apart immediately upon opening

If your kids hard on toys this won’t last. My sons 4 but 3 plus seems young for this. And if you’re not into putting pieces back together constantly I wouldn’t recommend. Definitely need to super glue it together.
