Great entry to the Zero series..but not without some minor flaws
I'll keep this as short as possible, I've been a fan of the GBA's Zero series since its inception. This entry might be almost as hard as the 1st MMZ game (and you all might remember how tough THAT one was). But the difficulty is vintage Mega Man. The game is more of the same (which isn't necessarily a bad thing), but what I didn't like was the Recipe/Body parts system. I had a hard time finding recipes that would HELP me in the game on my own & ended up having to go to gaming sites for a little help. Also, if playing in Normal mode, Sub Energy Cannisters are a MUST to complete the game (unless you're just that good). A great little entry that seems to be the finale to the Mega Man Zero series of games (though the DS' Megaman ZX is a losse sequal of sorts).

Mega Man Zero 4
I bought this game new from Amazon.com and I am completely satisfied with it. I used to own it and lost it and Amazon sold it for $14.99 new. I'm pretty sure that's cheaper than what I originally paid for it. Can't beat that.

On The Move
At first I didn't enjoy this game. Honestly, I thought that getting all the parts to make new costumes and added abilities was a pain in the neck. I even gave my 10 year-old brother the game since I gave up on defeating the last boss. My brother STILL has the game, and I take back everything I said. Sharing is caring. Mega Man Zero 3 I beat two days ago. I thought it was an excellent game, though Mega Man Zero 2 has better sound quality and a bit of an edge to it, but heck, I can't complain. The setting in Mega Man Zero 4 feels a lot different because we're not at the original Resistance Base any longer. Along with the memorable Ciel, Alouette, and Cerveau, we have these Neo Arcadian "fugitives" who become a bit of an asset to Zero, as well as a liability. The game rests a lot on the protection of this caravan of Neo Arcadians, and also on the fact that the showdown with Weil is rapidly approaching. I am not for spoiling the plot, so I will stop there. The music is pretty good in this late installment of the Mega Man Zero series, but one wonders at the storyline a bit. First of all, where are Harpuia, Leviathan and Fefnir? Not looking for the Mother Elf, I don't think. I'm sure they're not teaming up with Weil anytime soon, but hey. The Cyber-Elf system looks sharper than ever. It's not as index-like as the previous installment, and that's an improvement. I could be mistaken, but the Cyber-Elves seem to blend into one [in Easy Mode?] and their effects are permanent. I've yet to play Hard Mode. The game in itself is not easy, so don't expect to get a breather as in the last installment, because it's like going back to the second Mega Man Zero. Well, okay, not THAT hard, but you'll get what I mean when you play. Make sure you revisit every stage and experiment with the series' innovative weapon, the Z-Glove. With this handy weapon, you can't swing like in Zero 2 or jump twice as high as in Zero 3, but you can steal other enemies' weapons! There is a limited use to some of these weapons, but if you get your gloves on an elemental weapon, and you know what your boss's weakness is, might as well exploit that! You will enjoy this game if you want to know what happens in the story, and if you are a true Zero fan. Give it a shot!
