A: These shears are great, and they come in a soft black zip case.

**Q: do these provide an invisible blend?  Is the blade side sharp or is it dull for just pushing the hair.**
A: Both sides sharp. If you know how to cut properly with these you can get an invisible blend.

**Q: What is meant by 30 big teeth 90 little teeth?**
A: It is the number of teeth on the blade

**Q: What is the difference in percentage thinning rate between the red, blue, pink, and black shears?**
A: I’m not sure about the actual percentage difference between the various thinning shears, but according to the product page on Amazon, the pink and black have the same number of teeth and so should be the same. The greater the number of teeth, the more thinning of the hair. Hence the blue one with lesser teeth will thin less compared to the red one.

My hair stylist doesn't use these so I use them to give my fine, flat hair some lift by doing some texturing myself. But ce careful if you have my super thin, fine hair. You don't want to end up with vald spots by cutting too much. My daughter has super thick, curly hair and I had given her my other pair of these scissors. They do a FANTASTIC job of thinning out a big, thick bunch of hair. I was stunned to watch her just start chopping away at her long, thick curly locks but it really looked 100% better when she was done. I should say that my sister loves these scissors because I bought them for her. She's in beauty school and I needed my hair cut and shaped for my brother's wedding - her brother too. We flew out to the California for the wedding and she cut my hair the day of the wedding. These scissors are well packaged, and when you open it. you met with a beautiful pair of scissors that appear to be very well made and are sharp. My sister said they were very easy to become accustomed to holding and the balance of them is just right. There were no pulls or snags because the blades are so sharp and balanced. She loved them immediately, and so when she was done doing a magnificent job on my hair, she closed them up and giving me back the scissors, and I told her that they were hers to keep for cutting my hair so beautifully. She was thrilled, mostly because they're so much better than the ones with which she's been working as a student. I was happy, she was happy, and you will be too if you buy these particular scissors.
