Great value for the money. I've been using it for a few months now and have not had any issues since installing and formatting the hard drive for use. Not very noisy, better value than some of the big name hard drive companies. Buy with confidence.

Under certain conditions under 100% utilization, my drive starts to click effectivelyk "hiccup" and then goes offline. My NAS rejected the drive. I took it out and ran full diagnostics and its passed no issue (go figure) Running western digita data lifeguard diagnostics. I didn't think too much of it. I decided to put this drive in my pc instead. Well, i put the drive under a high load once again and it did the same thing. Different power supply. Different cables. Different OS. and it has an issue. I probably* could use this in an external enclosure where the full throughput is not a big deal but i wouldn't trust it to not corrupt my data. I get it. This took longer than 30 days to discover given that i passed full diagnostics. If anyone reads this.. just stick to refurbished Hitatchi drives... That is all. I waisted $90 so you don't have to.

Excellent drive so far working great. Hopefully will stand the test of time. Great price per/Gb storage.

You might think, since you're buying a brand new drive, that you would be getting the manufacturer warranty (like you would if you bought this at BestBuy or Microcenter), but the seller (Worldwide Product Importer) is the one that is providing the "5 year warranty". They said that these drives are NOS - New Old Stock: basically drives bought in bulk by data centers years ago, not used for a while and then resold by intermediaries today. If you put in the serial numbers on Toshiba's site, you will see that you might have some warranty left or none, if the drive was produced a long time ago.In my case, I bought two drives. One was made mid 2018, so I have one year of Toshiba warranty left. The other was made in 2020, so I have 3 years left. Well, 4 years from now, if I need the warranty on either drive, I will have to rely on the seller's word they will honor it...All this is not mentioned in the product description. So, take that into account when purchasing these drives.Other than that, the drives seem to be working Ok so far. They stay cool and quiet. Time will tell.

I received a 0 hour use brand-new drive, reported in the drive's SMART. It's a noisy thing when the heads are read/writing and the metal case is a bit scuffed but hey, it's an industrial drive not really meant to be pretty. Reads are 161 MB/sec real-world performance. The performance and storage is excellent which is what actually matters, especially for this price range.

All drives arrived in sealed packaging and appeared to be new devices. Price was excellent for the items purchased. All drives installed easily and are working without glitches thus far. Some noise when operating, but not disruptive or distracting (although device is in an adjacent open are to office.

Excellent performing hard drive. Runs very quiet, reasonable heat emission, read-write are good.
