Nothing Like the Movies Hardcover – 1 October 2024

My heart is so full after reading this book. I love the first book so much, and reading the sequel made me realise just how much I love these characters. The second chance romance trope was written so well and I can gladly say that I’m now a fan of the trope (and any other trope) if it’s written by @lynnpainterbooks . Wes and Liz are perfect the way they are, but together, they are magic✨This book takes place two years after their breakup, and I love that we got to read it from both the MC’s povs. We get to see how Wes yearns for Liz’s affection and how Liz is determined to keep him as far away from her as possible. Circumstances force them to work together, and you can feel the angst and yearning through the pages.This book is so beautiful, and I’m not sure my review will ever be enough to describe my love for it(you’ll have to read it to find out💗). It is so different from the first book and, we see how the characters have grown and matured, yet somehow they’re still the same Wes and Liz that we loved in the first book. I’d definitely recommend reading this if you loved the first book as much as I do💜

Nothing Like the Movies by Lynn Painter was an absolute delight! I adored Liz and Wes! Their banter, heartbreak, and all the movie and song references were simply perfect. This book was such a cozy read, and I had so much fun experiencing their journey. It’s a beautifully crafted second-chance romance with a slow-burn dynamic that kept me hooked.The character development was phenomenal, and the supporting cast(Wes and Liz's friends and Wes's sister) added so much charm to the story. Every detail felt like a warm hug on a chilly winter day.I highly recommend giving this one a read, but make sure you pick up Better Than the Movies first if you haven’t already. As a sequel, this book picks up right where the first one left off, and you won’t want to miss a moment of the story!

I devoured Wes and Liz and I just loveeeed Wes…..after failing on so many books, this one was just a warm hug which I couldn’t stop reading since I picked the first one……although as a sucker for more I would have loved to see more of their story in epilogue…..only one thing that was left unanswered as per me is that..SPOILER ALERT….although Wes told liz about his feelings that they are since the beginnings and gonna stay but Liz’s doubt that he won’t repeat this again if anything happens remained uncleared…I would have loved if there was a closure on that doubt as well by Wes satisfying it for Liz. But all and all…..I loved it.

The book in itself is just amazing... But if you are a reader whose reading experience is often affected by the paper and printing quality, then this quality of paper and print will definitely ruin your mood.

But after his best efforts get him nowhere, Wes is left wondering if their relationship is really over for good.I love Wes and liz so much. I love the banter between them. I love the new sassy liz here.I love to to get more into Wes’s character. I literally cried.I love the ending so much. I think it’s perfect for them.

The media could not be loaded. Worth your money. At first i had doubts, but after the package arrived, i was so satisfied with the packaging and quality of the book. This is NOT a pirated copy guys, you can go for it. The quality of the book is really good, also the packaging was up to the mark. Can't tell you much about the story as i bought it for my sister.

the packaging can be done more properly, mine just came in, wrapped with just the amazon paper,which i think seems kinda unsafe, overall the quality of the book is good.
