Perfect Tool For The Z30
A recent opportunity has come up to go and visit a bird hide with both upper and lower spots to put my camera, but I didn’t fancy being on the floor to use the lower camera points. So, I’m going to use my portable monitor and have a comfy seat instead. This is a much more elegant solution than a cable release and is a perfect match for my Nikon Z30. I’ve read some reviews suggesting that it is complicated to use and that the instructions are all in languages other than English. I have found neither of those cases to be true. The remote connected immediately with the camera and the (comprehensive) instructions were very clear, including a table showing what any of the lights on the device meant. The remote is small in form factor, and comes well packaged in a Nikon box. I find that it is a good size, and that it operates fairly intuitive. There is even the ability to zoom in and out with it, which is a bit of a a novelty but it may be usable for you. The remote operates both video and stills perfectly well and doesn’t require line of sight of the camera as it is Bluetooth, not IR. So far, I have found this to be a typically Nikon product; it works well, gives you good functionality and is relatively expensive for what it is! Having said that, I’m a fan and am sure it will get plenty of use in my photographic journey. Recommended.

A quality remote control from NIKON.
The product is as described, a quality product from Nikon. Package was delivered on time and would definitely use this company again. The remote control works perfectly with the Nikon ZF.

Works as described on my Z50.
Easy to pair for first time use. Easy to connect for subsequent use. All the buttons do what they're supposed to. Very useful for me. Expensive though!

Top product, expensive.
Essential for the hyper zoom of the P1000. This item stops unwanted camera movement, which happens when you zoom manually or use the corded remote - ie the latter 2 operations cause some movement to the camera body (hands in first case, tugging of cable at times in 2nd case).

Camera remote
Bought this as an alternative to a wired remote. Connects easily to the camera and gives all the functions I need. I would recommend to any Nikon User.

No English Instructions. Works OK with Z50
This came from Amazon, not a trader on Amazon. Amazon is a official Nikon dealer, therefore I am baffled as to why the remote turned up without instructions in English (German, French, Italian and Dutch only). You can download a pdf of the instructions form the Nikon UK support site, but they are difficult to read and difficult to print sensibly. There are videos on Utube, I gather. The Z50 Users Manual doesn't mention the remote. If you haven't already, I suggest you download the Z50 Reference Manual from the Nikon support site. If look in the camera Setup Menu (Spanner icon) you will find an option for Wireless Remote (ML-L7) Options (covered on page 319 of the Reference Manual). You must turn off Airplane mode (also in the setup menu) if you have it on before you can select this. Press and hold the power button on the remote for 3 seconds as instructed and pairing takes place ok. The rest is self explanatory. Very expensive for what it is and the documentation is not great, but it seems to work well enough.

Great range, immediate pairing, NOT a generic remote - made for my NIKON
This genuine Nikon Brand remote immediately paired with my Apple iPhone and iPad. It works perfectly so I don’t have to walk to the camera to start a video of myself or family photo sittings. It is SO much better than trying to use my phone as a remote control for my nice Nikon 6ii camera. It’s small and can be hidden completely in the hand for self videos so it’s not seen in the video. It has a great range, I use it at about 10 feet. It’s easy to use, and install. The buttons are immediate in all settings. You can zoom in via remote as well as stills. It’s WELL WORTH the price charged and I highly recommend it.

Tricky to set up but worth it
I purchased this remote for my Nikon CoolPix 950 point-and-shoot camera. Although the Nikon has a self-timer feature, it does require getting the picture framed and then using the shutter release without moving the [planned] framed photo of the subject. This remote solves the problem of touching the camera after setup. It requires pairing with the camera, and the instructions must be followed carefully to ensure a successful remote shot. Trial and error is inevitable, so be patient. This device was hard to find on the Nikon site and my local photo store could not get it either. Recommended.
