Great for travel
I’ve waited until I traveled with this little gem several times to share my thoughts. I tried out seven portable sound machines and this one made the cut to accompany me on my journeys. There are pros & cons, but the pros definitely win!Pros:+ 11 non-looping sounds (though I use only 2)+ tiny size & light weight+ power on with toggle switch (rather than push button), so it can’t accidentally turn on in bag+ sturdy box doubles as carry case+ no glowing light while noises play+ directional speaker+ charge lasts more than two full nights+ charge & use simultaneously if needed+ forward and reverse through the sounds (some other machines go only one direction)+ bonus that I didn’t think I’d care about: Bluetooth speaker that’s decentCons:+ no low-battery indicator (why I charged it before the third night)+ manufacturer doesn’t provide a track list of all the sounds+ tiny buttons+ some sounds don’t achieve a high enough volumeIn a solid month on-the-go, I used this machine in 15 different hotels and it was great everywhere. Only woke up one time (early in trip) to a dead battery so began charging every second or third day. Once I found the sounds I liked, I stuck with them (machine remembers last sound played). Won’t travel without it now. And if the manufacturer could add low-battery indicator and a track list, I’d say this machine was 100% perfect.

Great machine
Bullet points followed by editorial (the way all reviews should be done)All pros, no cons:• has easy to see/use controls, the buttons on previous model were very small.• the Bluetooth speaker is surprisingly good sound, I’d say comparable to the Amazon echo.• has a generic USB to C charging cord that I have more of on hand. Some of the other lectro fans have a specific cord so if you lose it, you have to buy one. Also, this is for travel, I won’t buy any travel electronics that force me to pack extra cords for one product.• has both white and “brown” noise, see below.I’m a pet sitter and am away from my home about 200 days a year, or more. I’ve had my previous generation lectrofan for 4 years with no problems, being used every night that I’m pet sitting. I hope this one does as well.I used to travel with my Amazon echo speaker as well, which is fairly bulky, I was willing to pack it to have a music source, the previous generation lectrofan didn’t have Bluetooth capabilities. I’m very glad to only need one device now, the sound is really really good, I’m shocked! If you don’t know the difference between white noise and brown noise, white noise is softer, sounds like the ocean or a quiet fan, good for sleeping and drowning out light traffic noise etc. It’s not helpful for noises like lawn equipment, someone’s loud music, construction noises (I have all of the above) The brown noise is a little harsher and gritty so it does a better job with blocking those sounds while I’m watching tv or whatever. It’s not what I’d want to be hearing, but it’s an even, steady sound which I prefer over the erratic, more distracting noises I mentioned.

It’s small, but mighty!
We brought these with us on vacation and they were perfect - the sound was just as good as our expensive home sound machine. It didn’t sound tinny or like it was cycling; very consistent and good frequency. Bonus - you can use it as a speaker too

Great travel sound machine
This little guy has a strong sound! I need white noise, especially in hotels with hallway sounds. This was perfect to drowned out the noice and let me sleep. It is tiny enough to take up very little space.

Sleep like a baby - and beware -- this thing works so well you will want one in every bedroom
I travel with this everywhere I go. It's tiny but mighty and it helps to blend the sound of a strange city -- or your own city -- into a soothing, bearable aural soundscape. I like the white noise best. I live in a very urban neighborhood with sirens, people coming home late from the bar and neighbors coming and going, driving in and out at all hours. I first bought one 15 years ago for my baby to help him sleep through the chaos. It worked like a charm. Then I fell in love with it myself. I have re-purchased many times and will not travel without it. Here is the thing: it does not perfectly mask other sounds but it creates a sonic cloud of white noise that blends outside, and inside, sounds so that they are not disruptive. (Did I mention it is tiny - it fits easily onto your bedside table and into your luggage.) Highly recommend.

Excellent solution for hotel travel
We use the full size version at home for white noise, and it works so well, I bought this rechargeable model for travel. The battery worked for 3 full nights in a loud hotel. There are several different white or fan noises and cycling through them are very simple. The buttons are a little difficult to use due to their size and labeling, but it can be figured out quickly. The only thing that I did not care for was that there is a not a lot of variability in the volume controls it is either loud or not as loud, not a lot of variance. Still a great product and it has already proven great for travel in the brief time I've owned it.

Great for white noise when sleeping
This little thing is awesome. I've used it a few times when other forms of white noise are unavailable. I took it camping where there was no electricity because of others' snoring and it made it much more tolerable. I used it for a total of 30ish hours no problem. Only reason I didn't do 5 stars is because the button sticks to switch it on and it stopped working for a while, but I did get it to work again.
