AvoDerm Chicken & Herring Meal Adult Dry Cat Food, 3.5lb bag

I have two cats. Both were previously on high quality cat food. They had continually had intermittent diarrhea and dry skin. We would try different foods to no avail and decided to try this based on the reviews. Within a couple days, diarrhea gone - skin shiny..and they actually like this food! We also interchange between the grain free version they provide. We do provide a small amount of wet food in the evenings, which has not disrupted their GI system. I hope Amazon continues to sell this as I never see this brand in any of the big box stores.

I've been getting AvoDerm Dog Food for my dog for a while now. So I decided to see if my cat would like this good for him food also. Well, he purred while he ate it and really loves it. So I then ordered another bag for a spare. So I will keep ordering this, just like I keep ordering the dog food. It's good for both of them, and they both love it. It arrives perfect packed and arrived in perfect condition. The only thing I don't like is that it has no closer on it, so you have to use something to keep both bags closed after you fill bowls.

Cat does not like this food. At all.Chose not to eat, rather than AvoDerm.So you know her tastes, she is a true carnivore.Has to have 2 meals a day of wet food cuts, or tuna.Loves Purina One Grain Free for the meaty bits and the kibble to nibble.Btw, she weighs a solid 8 lbs of muscle.I wanted to try AvoDerm as we fostered her when we found her covered in mange.It was so bad, they wanted to put her down but she was such a love bug, had to give her a chance.She not only kicked mange's butt & grew a soft, healthy coat but 2 years later is crazy active.However, she still has itchy places from the scarring.Vet says she looks fine & it's most likely a "ghost" reaction that she's just used to doing.Figured AvoDerm was made for this kind of thing but she is just not having it.What's a cat momma to do? Purina it is.Maybe you'll have better luck.

I honestly have no idea what it tastes like but the cat likes it. My cat has always had small lesions that he'd lick, gross. Avoderm has completely cured him. I tried several pricey brands with no change in his skin. Avoderm is the one brand that helped his skin. Love it!

My cat actually ate some of this. That doesn't always happen. The kibbles are small which is important as he doesn't have all his teeth, plus he did not vomit this up. Seems quite satisfied especially serving along with a can of Almo complete chicken & turkey grain free.

We took care of my in laws cat temporarily. The cat was having issues with clumping hair. I switched the cat to this and his fur became beautiful and I no longer had to cut out any of his hair.

It's the first time the cats have actually eaten something that's good for them.

This product totally disappeared in my area, so thanks to Amazon my cats still have their FAVORITE dry food. They now turn up their nose at anything else. The ingredients are gluten free and so nutritious - it even smells yummy to me! What a difference in energy, coat, playfulness - even my older cats. The pellets are tiny and easy to chew - even for older cats with some dental issues. I can't say enough good things about this dry cat food - i just better never run out!!
