Hp Deskjet Gt5810 Ink Tank Printer

Buying a printer is one of the most confusing and irritating decisions in ones life.. So has it been in my case.. Before buying this printer I almost went through dozens of printer models both inkjet and laser in dozens of local and online retail shops and then this particular model struck my yes.I am writing this review after 1 month of use and there are several points i would like to share with my fellow buyers..i) I bought this printer for 9579/- via credit card EMI... so it cost me around 10,300/- including interest..ii) This printer has all there features namely, PRINT,SCAN,COPY(commonly known as xerox).iii)This printer uses inkjet printer heads(2.--one for Black & White and one for Colour).iv) It has a storage compartment on the left hand side of the printer which holds four smaller compartments for four colours namely BLACK, MAGENTA, YELLOW, BLUE.v) The colour compartments are directly linked to the printer heads via tubes through which colours flow during printing.vi) It has both Black & White and colour xerox facilty too which is pretty useful and awesome..vii) The blank papers are placed at the back of the printer (in a mostly slanted vertical position) and the page comes out of the front side after printing horizontally.viii) The colour storage/compartment has a knob/switch by which u can block/unblock the flow of the colours to the printer heads, used mostly for blocking during shifting/moving the printer from one place to another.ix) This printer can print on both sides of the paper(Note: not Duplex printing) but u have to flip the sheets and re-position them in paper tray for next pass.[Ex: If u are printing from pages 1-6 then if u select the option"Print on both sides of the paper" before starting the print then it will print first 6,4,2 and then u have to flip the bunch either horizontally/vertically (as u chose before starting) and re-position them in tray and then it will automatically print on the other side of the paper as 5,3,1]x) The scanner is very good too.The HP scanning software provided with the HP Driver Disc is very simplied and helpful. The scanning of a document takes only 3-6 secs and then via software u can edit the scanned image and the HP softwware also gives u option for saving the scanned image in both PDF and JPEG formats.xi) The scanned bed can hold a document max of the size of an A4 paper which is pretty good and ofcourse the scanner can scan in both B&W and colourxii) Those who rae saying that after fw prints the colour has depleted, then i dont know but that is a complete misinformation, i have printed more than 100 pages in 1 month (max B&W) but till now the colour levels have not even depleted by 10%.xiii) The capacity of the ink compartmnts is (Black-80ml, Blue Magenta & Yellow ---70 ml). You will be getting ink 4 bottles Black-90ml and Blue Magenta Yellow--70ml, So after re-filling u will still have 10ml of Black ink left.xiv) Filling the ink compartments is very easy just search for some videos online(or follow the manual) and u will be good to go.xv) This printer doesn't has wifi or network connectivity. U have to connect it via USB 2.0 to your PC.xvi) The print quality is very good pretty much equivalent to a laser quality and yes this printer is indeed a colour printerLast but not least the entire package comes with [The printer Unit + Four original HP ink bottles + power cable + USB 2.0 cable + manuals]. Also it has 1 year Onsite HP warranty but can u can get additional 2 year Onsite warranty for 2500/- by contacting HP customer service and they will guide u further.So, i have shared my views about this printer as best as i could and i have concluded that you cannot get such a complete feature packed and efficient printer in such a price.Summary of features: PRINT (Both B&W and Colour)SCAN (Both B&W and Colour)COPY (Both B&W and Colour)So please my fellow buyers just buy this printer in complete confidence and u will not be disappointed, I can personally guarantee that..!!!!!!

Reasonably good printing quality and very easy to operate.Ink consumption is very economical.So far it seems it is a good buy.Previously i was using cannon printer which was having outstanding print quality, but ink cartridges were very expensive.I hope Hp will come out as an economical printing option.

I am using this printer for about 5 months, I think. It has no problem. The print, xerox and scan quality is very good. If I have to mark a downside of this printer it is that when you give command to print multiple pages at once, sometimes it gets delayed by few seconds to print the next document. That''s it but to me it's no big deal.

Dear friends I have purchase a HP inktank printer 5810, after 4 months of purchase it's not working properly and service center is forcing me to accept it as it.Every time when I complained about it they are just passing time.When I contacted to customer care number of company,they are also making nonsense excuse and not ready to change printer. Please spread this massage to much so that everyone can understand cheating policy of HP printers. Please help me to fight with this company

Its an awesome product , has 4 ink bottles inside the box, can print about 5000 pages in black and 8000 pages in colour.Easy to installSilent Printing and Scanning a good thing everything is also faster

Biggest mistake of life .worst product it's printhead stop working after every 2 to3 months .it ok when the product is in warranty bt after tha I I spend 3200 rupee in its repair .if ur reading this pls don't buy pls go for other brand hp sucks . totally waste of money and time

The printer is good for home use and small offices, it has a good borderless printing, but it strech the size of the when doing borderless, till now it has no issue and working fine.

Got it on nov 24/17 , today its jan 31 /18 . Just noticed the printer in my orders. This is a update from my previous review. Printer works perfectly. Very cost efficient. Good for taking color and black and white. Best printer .
