I'm using it in my veggie garden - eight 20 gallon grow bags, plus some in-ground squash. Some things get more than one emitter. I use a full outdoor-sized plastic garbage can (with lid - mosquitos!) for water. 30 minutes uses about 1/3 of the water. This was my first time setting up any drip irrigation, so I made a map in visio first to get my head around it. Helped a lot. Actual set-up was pretty straightforward - maybe an hour. Caveats: There's no actual clock, just a timer, so, to set it to run every day at 6am, you have to start it at 6am. Granted, a one time thing, but still - one main reason for automated watering is to not have be up at 6am. Second, they use non-US-standard sized tubing - it's 4mm/6mm NOT 1/4". Found out the hard way trying to replace a t connector that snapped in half (still not sure how that actually happened). Lastly, almost impossible (for me) to read the LCD in daylight. Note that I saw later that the instructions suggested charging with USB first - I didn't see/do that, but had it out in the sun for a day or two before I tried using it, and it worked fine. Maybe the LCD would have been brighter had I charged it? All and all a great option for areas with no tap/power.

Pump and timer work well enough. The instructions are not good enough; the connection at the pump is very fragile; the amount of tubing is very limiting; the connectors/emitters have tiny diameters and the tubing is hard so it's easy to break a connector; the tubing and emitters are too small to use with other 1/4" diameter systems if you break an emitter trying to put it on. The "solar panel" is not supposed to be in heavy rain. Do your Due Diligence and pay a little more for a real product.

Set up is fairly easy . Can't get it to work properly and NO response or help from customer service. Disappointing

After 5 months of operation the solar panel with the controls died. For what I paid for it, $10/month is not a good return on investment.
