I’ve been using the Poolmate Hydro 4 SE for a couple of weeks now, and I’m really impressed with how well it works. It climbs the walls and cleans the floor thoroughly, picking up everything from fine debris to leaves. The setup was simple — just plug it in and drop it in the pool. I also like the long cable, which easily reaches all corners of our inground pool. Cleaning the filter basket is quick and hassle-free. Definitely a great value for the price — I wish I bought it sooner!

I purchased this corded pool cleaner to automate the cleaning of my pool, but unfortunately, it has been a frustrating experience. While the unit does clean the pool to some extent, it requires my constant attention.The main issue is the lack of effective or any communication with the unit while it’s underwater. The Bluetooth connectivity is with the robot itself, not the power unit, so once it's in the water, and the robot suppose to be in the water, there's no way to interact with it. I had programmed it to clean daily, but the automatic schedule doesn't work. Each morning, I have to manually take the robot out of the pool, restart it, and place it back in to begin cleaning.Another major limitation is the fixed two-hour cleaning cycle. There's no option to extend the cycle, so if additional cleaning is needed, the entire manual restart process must be repeated. Very inconvenient.Within a week of use, the power cord became tangled, significantly limiting the robot’s range unless untangled manually. Even more disappointing is that it completely misses 90-degree corners. My pool is tiled with sharp corners, and none of them are cleaned, I have to brush the debris out of the corners myself for the robot to pick it up.All in all, this product has been very disappointing. For a robot that demands so much manual effort, I would have been better off buying a cordless model, which offers more flexibility and often better performance for the same price. I do not recommend this cleaner and suggest others look for more capable alternatives.

No more fishing around with a pole or getting wet hands!Overall, this is hands-down the best investment I’ve made for our pool. It saves time, energy, and frustration—and most importantly, the water has never looked this clean.
