This isn't really an acne fighting serum. Based on the ingredients, it's more of a basic moisturizing serum. If you're looking for something to help with breakouts, this probably isn't it. Value for money is good if you're looking for a basic serum to help with hydration (not acne fighting - not effective against fighting acne).

Skin care:I like that this product contains peptides as not many I've run across for acne treatment have this. It's very difficult to use because you have to wait 30 minutes after washing to. apply it to your face. That's fine on days off but of you're tight on time before heading out, you'll have a more challenging time fitting this into your routine if you also want to use sunscreens and other serums. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I don't know if I would choose this due to the application requirements.

My skin is very sensitive and I tend to get hormonal acne. I've tried a lot of different acne treatments that either didn't help or were too harsh on my skin. This treatment has made such a major difference in my skin in terms of clearing it up and preventing breakouts. I find it's gentle enough and not drying that it can be used on its own without using moisturizer after. I like to use it overnight for best results. It has been the most effective product in clearing up my skin and it works fairly quickly. A little goes a long way, I think it's a good value.

I'm prone to breakouts and in the throes of postpartum hormone craziness (if you know you know) and found my normal acne control products to be less effective than I need. This acne control gel has been both effective and mild, preventing further irritation to my already angry skin. I was first dubious about its effectiveness because I'm used to ingredients like benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid to get results, but I've found both my breakouts diminished as well as scarring and hyperpigmentation. The bottle isn't very big, but for the price, you can't beat it.

Too much of a gap in time from the facial wash to when it may be used (30 minutes). My niece has used on a few of those pesky eruptions. She wasn't impressed, didn't work as quick as her favorite pimple patch. Too slow in showing improvement, therefore, she and my daughters said they'll pass on this one. May work on some and not others. 🙄

really like this product. i dont get a ton of acne but when i do this is my first line of defense, esp on my neck and chest. I think the quality is great, the price is right and it generally works in a few days. I dont notice any additional drying or sensitivity.

While I do like this product, I'm not the biggest fan of how you have to use it. Heads up to those who want to purchase this - there is a half hour time window where you can use this either after washing your face or applying another product afterwards. I like to be able to do my skin care in one swoop and this doesn't fall in line with my routine, so I only use this on special occasions when I know I have a bad breakout (which fortunately doesn't happen too often these days).
