I'm not a make-up person. In fact, the last few years I haven't hardly worn any. However, I wanted to try and look a bit more polished, specifically wanted my eyes to stand out more.This is very easy to apply. I went for a 'natural look' and just put on a thin line beneath my lower lashes and added a touch of mascara. It looks great!It's easy to control the pencil - it's soft and not too hard but not too thin like liquid. It's exactly what I was hoping for. It also doesn't smudge or come off until I remove it. I just bought an extra one as I plan to regularly use. Would recommend.

This eyeliner is easy to apply; applies smoothly. Always looks great and never needs sharpening. I put it on in the morning and NEVER have to touch it up. Use a good eyeliner remover (doesn't have to be $$) and be sure to remove completely before sleeping.

It glides on smoothly, no sharp edges. I usually only use below my eye. Other infallible colors (plum) only last me a week or so. They don't twist up, and you just get what you see. This black brown lasted me a couple months using every day. It twists up, and always keeps a good point to use. I recommend this color. It's not too light or too dark of a color.

Overall, it is a good quality product, as I would expect from L'Oreal Paris Makeup. I like it. It goes on smooth and looks nice. The eggplant color is exactly as advertised and it sets off the green in my eyes very nicely. It does tend to smudge and is not water proof at all. Also, I didn't realize that it requires sharpening, it does. It says it has a built in sharpener, but I haven't located one.

Someone who previously reviewed this product must've missed the day they taught the difference between "built-in" and "automatic." This pencil does indeed have a terrifically engineered BUILT-IN sharpener. BUILT-IN does not mean "automatic." You actually have to USE the sharpener, which is located in the smudger end of the pencil. Pull the smudger out and, voila!, there's the BUILT-IN sharpener. This is without a doubt the best eyeliner pencil out there. Thank you, L'Oreal!

This is perfect for a quick smudged eye. I line my lid and then use a dark brown eyeshadow over it, to set it. Using the eyeshadow over it, softens the luck.

‘Never Fail’ that’s a joke as I can barely get a mark out of this on my eye lid & even testing on my wrist you have to press really hard to see anything. I’m so disappointed, especially as I was very keen to try it after reading fantastic reviews. I also had to wait over a month for this eyeliner to arrive. I’m now thinking it’s either a fake product or from very old stock for it not to work like this.

Great eyeliner, would recommend. The only problem, it took ages to arrive, so four stars.

Why all the good reviews? This liner is horrible! It’s way too soft, not pigmented, smears all over the place immediately and doesn’t seem like it dries down much. This is the worst eyeliner I have ever used. I do my liner every day religiously. The Rimmel liner is light years better for less than half the price.

I bought this because of the tons of positive reviews. This is probably the worst eyeliner I've had, and I've had a few $1 eyeliners. Terrible application. I was just sitting at my computer and I looked in the mirror a couple hours later (no workouts or anything) and it looked like someone gave me 2 black eyes.So much for the "never fail".

Color no muy obscuro si no hasta unas dos o tres pasadas, si se corre muy facilmente a menos que te pongas algun fijador, pero hay productos mas baratos que no lo necesitan. Es tipo crayon retractil, es muy suave, pero nada recomendable para primavera o verano... a ver si en invierno lo puedo usar sin que se corra tan facil
