Very good cd bought this as it had my first dance song on it and not been left disappointed very good

This is the one of the best Bon Jovi's record. All songs on this CD are my favourite.Thanks for good music

Five years after their darkest, most mature, and perhaps strongest (certainly until 2005's 'Have A Nice Day' at least) album 'These Days', New Jersey rockers Bon Jovi returned in 2000 with their smash hit comeback album 'Crush', which kicks off with their now modern classic hit single 'It's My Life', one of the band's signature songs, and the nice romantic ballad 'Thank You For Loving Me'.The rest of the album has a similar sound, and is a good combination of contemporary-sounding rocking tracks and love songs, my personal favourites on here that weren't released as singles are 'Two Story Town' and 'Say It Isn't So'. The catchy 'One Wild Night' is another standout, but when the band put out an energetic live version as a single the following year, it was even better.'Crush' was a strong comeback album from one of the most popular classic rock bands to rise to stardom in the 1980s, the songs on this album are very mature and radio friendly. It was certainly a change in direction for them at the time, but a good and contemporary one. These men proved that they would never be throwbacks from the 1980s, and won themselves a younger fan base in the new millennium with this one.In 2010, this was re-issued with the rest of the albums with the tag 'Special Edition'. However, with just three previously unreleased live tracks which were recorded during the band's highly successful 'Crush' tour added on, as nice as they are, I would personally have preferred to have had the single's B sides added on instead, or both, these are after all 'Special Editions'.

The product is great and takes me back to the early 2000's! Some excellent quality sound tracks from a brilliant band!

I like this album as it has some good songs, my favourite being "It's my life", "Thank you for loving me", "Just older" and "One wild night". The special edition also includes 3 live tracks recorded during the crush tour. This album is not a typical rock album it is more of a pop album, but still worth listening. I like crush even though I prefer rock.

Replacing my husband’s dvd that I bought him when it first came out. Perfect condition and still sealed. He’ll be excited at Christmas.

At least in my top three favourite Bon Jovi albums, and that is rating Greatest Hits as #1. I’d say this ties for second place with These Days.

Crush segna il ritorno di una delle più grandi rock band al mondo. E' obbligatorio per gli amanti dei Bon Jovi ma anche per chi ha voglia di spensieratezza. Pezzi di qualità e tanto tanto stile.

Also, ich fange mal so an: Diese Special-Edition ist digital remastered und hat vier Bonus-Lieder mit Live-Aufnahmen dabei. Also eigentlich eine gute Packung!Da ich aber das Original-Album schon besitze und die Aufnahme auch nicht so schlecht ist, habe ich mir persönlich diese Edition verkniffen. Ich hatte sie nur in Händen (o.k.: auch kurz im CD-Player) um sie zu verschenken.Von daher ... die Wenigsten werden die Musik von Bon Jovi als solche noch gar nicht kennen und ich kann mich kurz mit meiner Rezension fassen.Bon Jovi spielen auch auf dieser CD den typischen amerikanischen Hard Rock mit den (ihren) eigenen Wiedererkennungsmerkmalen. Manche bezeichnen das als Eigenständigkeit, manche als Mainstream mit Hang zum Pop. Ich tendiere zu Ersterem und das hat einen Grund: Ich hatte schon eine Bon Jovi - Platte (die Allererste) in meinem Regal, da kannten die meißten noch nicht mal das Lied Runaway. Und ich bin mit der Band gewachsen und habe mir immer die aktuellen Alben gekauft. Und das obwohl ich eine echt große CD-Sammlung habe, mit allen möglichen Richtungen des Rock. Oder gerade deswegen? Mir gefällt bei BJ die Abwechslung in der Musik, der Phatos in der Stimme und die Emotionen, die immer wieder hochkommen. Manchmal einfach richtig cool! Also einfach mein Geschmack! Auch die etwas ruhigeren Lieder und die Balladen.Und von den "neueren" Alben gefällt mir Crush einfach mit am besten, da es alle diese o.g. Trade-Marks besitzt! Aber meine Vorlieben für die Platten der Band wechslen oft, je nach Stimmung und Jahreszeit ... oder was auch immer.Falls ein Bon-Jovi-Kenner das Album noch nicht haben sollte - egal aus welchen Gründen - hier hätte er die Möglichkeit, sich oder dem Album noch mal eine Chance zu geben. Und ob sich absolute Neueinsteiger dieses Album zulegen sollten, oder lieber eine Best Of oder sogar ein anderes Album, kann ich ehrlicher Weise nicht beantworten. Höchstens so: Warum eigentlich nicht? Einfach mal reinhören - nicht so viel auf andere Meinungen geben - und selber entscheiden. Grüße!
