Review: First time with barefoot shoes? Expect time to adjust! - I have sprained my ankle multiple times and over the past couple of years have experienced some discomfort with my feet. I would walk and have pretty annoying heel pain in my left foot where I had sprained it. I've had these shoes for 9 months and though it took a while for my feet to adjust, I no longer have any heel pain and now I'm not sure I can ever wear "normal" shoes again. I've worn these pretty much everywhere, even to work, and they've held up well but I'm sure they won't last since they are just trail running shoes. I can't say they are for everyone, but I highly recommend them!

Somehow, I happened on a video feed that talked about the Xero Shoes and I decided to order one to give it a try. I was amazed at how well the shoe fit. I did not like the color that much but more than that, I did not like the style. The good news is Xero Shoes has a few styles and I was able to find one I liked. Another piece of good news is the size was true. When they got here, I thought they were more flimsy than I expected. But after careful inspection, all the seams looked really good and seemed really well made. Well let me tell you, those shoes fit perfectly. I always order Work Orthotic Insoles for my running or exercise shoes and did the same for these even before they got here. Once I cut the insoles to match my foot profile and put them in, it was simply amazing. After about 15 minutes, the shoes simply disappeared. Not visually gone, but they fit so well, were so comfortable I completely forgot I had them on. I still need more time with them to understand how well they hold up in the long run. But right now, I love these shoes. I will try to remember and come back and update this post to let everyone know how well they hold up.

### ⭐ These shoes will fail before the advertised length and neither company will fix it

Absolutely dont buy this item or dont buy from this company on amazon. They will not honor the shoes warranty. I put about 1000 miles on the shoe and the soles are worn flat. Xero won't do anything because amazon is a 3rd party. Amazon will do nothing because they are too old. Sad neither company will back the product. Also, I had contacted customer service multiple times with promised responses and never got them until I kept contacting them again and again on my own. It's a shame because thwyt should be really good shoes. They just fail 75% sooner than they're supposed to. The good, they fot well, they look good and are comfortable. The bad, as stated above, the soles fail well before the guaranteed miles.
