ACMER S1 Laser Engraver for Beginner Mini Laser Engraving Machine for Wood, Leather, Plastic, Laser Class4 (Black, 2500mW)

This little engraver/cutter is amazing for the price. It renders really nice images on a variety of surfaces and it is very easy to set up and use. I rate its accuracy as very high in its price range and its overall quality is great. It cuts a bit slow, but that should be expected for a laser in this range. Over All, I really love the device. And its size actually fits on a desk without eating up all the space which makes it great for hobbyists.

This Laser Engraver doesn’t over-promise or under-deliver. I do not have Any previous experience with laser engravers and found it to be usable right out of the box with minimal set up. There is plenty of online support and a plethora of customer experiences to tap into if needed. Some of the type in the instruction booklet is Very small and can be a challenge to decipher. Construction of the engraver is solid and precise. So far, so good. I would recommend this product for those just dipping into laser engraving for small projects, such as myself. I consider the price fair for all it does.

Great small Portable laser. Great for engraving small details of a picture. I like the compatibility with LaserGRBL. I use Windows Photo app to make good black and white photos out of a color photo. The laser is really smooth in moving and accurate. I like the good protective shield it has on the laser. The laser comes with the power supply and cables. It comes with a test pad wood and the 2mm gauge. I am really enjoying this laser

I was looking for an easy to use, light weight engraver for 4"x4" coasters. This one caught my eye and with such a reasonable price I couldn't resist. It is easy to set up once you have the software loaded into the laptop. The engraving is very nice and clean. I have had trouble in the past with correctly centering the project, but this machine makes it easy. Very much worth the money spent.

I’ve been using the ACMER S1 Laser Engraver to create custom name tags and keychains, and overall, it's been a great little machine! It definitely took some getting used to in the beginning, I had to tweak and tighten the carrier and go through a few trial runs (and messed up blanks) before getting the settings just right. But once I figured it out, the engraver performed consistently and produced clean, sharp designs.One of the highlights was using it to engrave dinosaur images for an event — the level of detail came out better than expected, and everything looked professional. The machine is perfect for small projects like these, and I got about 100 good uses out of it before the laser started to wear out. Unfortunately, there are no replacement parts available, so it's not built for long-term use or maintenance, which is the only real downside.That said, for the price and what I needed it for, which was a batch of custom small items. It was absolutely worth the investment. I would definitely buy it again for similar short-term or project-based needs.

This is a wonderful little engraver / cutter for the money. well worth the low price you pay for it. Its not hard to setup but takes a little bit to figure out the software (not impossible for the average joe).....All in all I am very happy with my purchase!!!!!!!!!!!

I was able to find several useful videos on You Tube that helped me set up the machine and get the hang of using it! It engraves hat patches perfectly!

Was a little hesitant to purchase this as it was so reasonably priced. HOWEVER, I'm glad I did! Super easy to use! Set up was quick. I bought it to engrave wood keychains for our craft fairs. Make sure you purchase a laser bed to go with it for safety.
