Gerber Training Pants - 3 Pairs - These are a wonderfully basic training pant that can be an effective potty training tool. The center panel consists of front and back layers of 100% combed cotton and the absorbent interior is a 50/50 cotton/poly blend. These training pants have enough absorbency for little leaks on the way to the toilet and are inexpensive enough to keep plenty on hand. They are also great under pants for toddlers from size 2T through size 4T. Colors and prints vary over time and are not necessarily as shown in the photo

Great Training Pant and Underwear
These were the first training pants that we purchased for our son and we STILL use them.Yes, we've purchased other underwear; however, these have held up for over a year. What is great is that they absorbed a little pee so that the kids doesn't completely soil himself.

So Much Better Than Pull Ups!
These training pants are wonderfully simple. They are absorbent, my little guy can pee in them once without it getting all over the place, but they still feel wet to the touch. Pull ups just feel like a diaper so what is the point? How can your child learn if they don't feel wet? These keep the mess in for the most part, but make it uncomfortable enough that my little one wants to use the potty. I have potty trained several children while working as a nanny and would always recommend these over pull ups.

GREAT TRAINING PANTS
I had placed an order for a different brand of training pants and the order was cancelled by the company so I ordered these. They are comfy and great to have when I go somewhere since they are more absorbent than regular underwear. They been washed several times with no signs of wear or tear.

Great underwear - didn't work as training pants
For my son, these never ever held in an accident. But since he's been potty-trained, he has been wearing these as normal underwear just because we still had them. He also has some normal toddler boy undies - but he always picks these out - they are just that comfortable! The other thing is, The 18 mos size fit him when he was 14 mos old - and still do at almost 3! I mean, they are a little small, but still comfy enough. I am getting 3T since he loves them so much! I would give them 1 star as training pants - but 5 stars as undies!

Too thin to hold an entire accident, but great for training the potty sensation
Pros:- Very soft.- Relatively thin (compared to other training pants) and therefore easy to wash + dry.- Thin enough that urine will likely drip down in case of a real accident...I count this as a PRO because it forces my 1.5 year old to learn the sensation. After missing several times in a day, I noticed she started saying "potty" even when she's back in her diaper.Cons:- Too thin to hold a real accident. Therefore in our case it's home use only.Overall, I recommend these training pants for the exact purpose of training. Don't rely on these to hold an entire accident. In our case, it may have worked just the same if we go right straight to panties instead of using these training pants.Tips on containing mess when going out:Once my daughter is *almost* potty-trained, we would let her wear these inside, and then add diaper outside when we go out--this way even if she misses the diaper would contain the mess, but she would still feel the pee. We won't use the diaper at home (because the purpose is to let her feel the sensation when she misses) but i'm very careful to stay in the tile/wood floor area only.

Always a classic! Don't buy a single pullup!
These are wonderful! My 18 month old daughter trained in a week with these (though it was a messy week). Just like the other reviews say, they can hold a little accident but don't function like a diaper which is exactly what you need when training. My daughter caught on almost immediately that the process for relieving herself had changed. Pullups only cause confusion (you CAN go in your pants, but please DON'T?). These wear well and the sizes are true. Also, they're thicker than regular underwear which is nice for protecting cold butts in winter :) If the cost seems high, compare the cost of 18-20 pair of these to what you'll spend on pullups for 6 months to a year, because that's the alternative. One last thing, we did order some from Luvable Friends and liked them OK, but the leg holes were too big. These have smaller leg holes that prevent the occasional solid accident from rolling down the leg and onto the floor, which really happened with the other brand. Go Gerber!

Great Cotton Training Pants
My daughter started out with Okie-Dokie Training pants. I was really pleased with the quality, but the stitching in the back appeared a bit uncomfortable. I looked for another brand, and I ordered Gerber Cotton Training pants (3T). My daughter LOVES them (and I fully agree!). My daughter has been using cotton training pants for almost 2 weeks now, and she only has had one or two accidents. I also love that the package includes a white pair. Now and then she wears white pants/shorts. I definitely give Gerber Training Pants a 5 stars PLUS rating. You can read more about our potty training "adventures" on my blog: [...]%20Training
