I am a Texan with a sensitivity to heat, this fan is a summer gamechanger. I spend hot days at the pool, baseball fields, and watching my kid in the backyard. The fan is easy to carry and packs so much power in a little size. It has several speed options and the ability to mist constantly or in intervals. It charges to full capacity in a few hours and lasts for a considerable amount of time. Like any device, the faster the speed the quicker the battery drains. At a full charge, and full speed it lasts about 2 hours, for me this is not a big deal as im always able to get close to a plug. It’s also very quiet and doesn’t distract other people in the stands near me at games.

I originally bought this for my oldest that was going to Bonnaroo this year, but every member of my family has used it & loves it! My husband even uses it for concerts at the Coca Cola Amphitheater here in Birmingham for the concerts he works! I’m so excited to use it for the fall football tailgates we will have soon for our youngest Varsity football tailgates! And also the beach!!💃🏽💃🏽

Great fan, have not tried the mister as of yet. Fan does get a little loud the higher you have the setting which is why I gave 4 stars

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Hubby got me this for my birthday. I use it everyday. I have hot flashes and this is great to combat those. We have taken it to outdoor events and up to the pool. It’s well with the $

I wanted to see what all of the hipe was about. I read the reviews and wanted to experience it for myself. I read both the five star and one star reviews. I was using the fan in a very small space, 10x8. This is at most a $25 fan. I cannot believe they are charging $170 for this. At MOST you feel the air at 10 feet if you have it pointed directly on you, barely and that’s on high speed. The mister was intermittent (not sure if this is how it was supposed to be) then it would just stop, plenty of water in the reservoir. The battery life after being fully charged lasted approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. I was really hoping for the best. I love Shark products, this fan failed. I will be returning it and looking into the Dewalt.

My daughter brought this for me for my job because she know my job has no air conditioner inside of the building this thing is wonderful I love it

I really wanted this product to live up to the hype, but the amount of mist output was dramatically lower than what I expected for the purchase price. The 70 feet of reach that is advertised must be how far the fan can push air - it certainly does not throw mist that far, In fact, you have to be 8" in front of the product to even feel the cooling effect of the mist. PLUS, the water tank capacity is incredibility small - it only holds 150mL (5 fluid ounces) so you will need to refill often. I was pumped about this product when I ordered it, and it is engineered well with a small foot print and the available colors will appeal to most. You can buy a much cheaper fan that will last longer, and put out much more air volume. Don't believe the hype about the mist - it's pretty to look at but mostly useless for evaporative effects to cool you down. Sending this one back after only 20 minutes of disappointed use. I might pay $40 for it, but not $150.

This is a nice fan. It’s portable and angles up and down with a detachable base to have it mounted on other Shark accessories. The mist is light and doesn’t get you damp, which I find great as it cools the air and doesn’t dampen the surrounding rug, ground, etc. The fan is very quiet and when pointed directly at you, does keep you cool and comfortable. Now where this struggles, is with the amount of time that the misting happens. I found it worked on the low misting setting for roughly 40 minutes before the misting stopped and needed a refill. After the 2nd refill in under and hour and a half, I decided to return it because even for camping, you’d want it to run for more than 40 minutes at a whack when plugged in. When I went to empty it & get rid of the water to pack it up, I found that the upward angle of the fan stopped the misting as there was quite a bit more water in the tank still and leaning it forward activated the misting again even after the tank was emptied, emptying out the internal hose. If this fan needs to be downward facing or completely flat, then the base should be immobile or at least not allow for an upward angle, as it really did lessen my experience as I don’t have a table with the perfect height for this one specific fan.I really did want to love it - as I use Shark in my house for all different purposes, but this one was a miss for my needs. I ended up going with a misting fan that you could put on top of a 5 gallon bucket for a longer session and is easily filled with a garden hose. While not perfect and the misting does cause some dampness, after 6 hours, I still haven’t had to do anything with the water.
