My Skin's New Best Friend – and It's Butter Than Ever!
I’m not saying I have a new best friend, but Sky Organics Organic Shea Butter has definitely earned a spot in my inner circle! This stuff is pure magic in a jar, and I’m officially obsessed. First of all, the texture is like spreading the fluffiest, creamiest butter on toast—but instead of toast, it’s my skin that gets to enjoy the luxury! It’s rich, thick, and melts into my skin like it’s been waiting its whole life for this moment. My dry patches? Gone. Rough elbows? Who are they? My skin is now so smooth, I’m half convinced I could slide across a hardwood floor with zero friction. The smell is that natural, earthy goodness that lets you know there’s nothing but pure, unrefined awesomeness in here. It’s subtle but so comforting, like a cozy blanket on a chilly day. And did I mention it’s organic? My skin and my conscience are both living their best lives. Applying it is like giving myself a mini spa treatment every day. It’s a little extra work to warm it up in my hands, but honestly, it’s totally worth it. Plus, I’ve discovered it makes a fantastic base for DIY beauty projects. Lip balm, hair masks, you name it—this butter does it all. In short, Sky Organics Shea Butter has officially earned a permanent place on my bathroom shelf. My skin is singing its praises, and I’m over here wondering why I didn’t discover this sooner. If you’re on the fence, just do it—your skin will thank you, and you’ll feel like you’ve upgraded to VIP status in the world of skincare. Five buttery, smooth stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great stuff! And a miracle for my face. See update.
I am neutral on the scent as it just has a very light raw smell. Not unpleasant however. This has changed the texture of my skin and has increased the moisture tenfold! It's the best moisturizer I have ever used since my skin has matured. My forehead and area around the mouth used to be so dry. Not anymore. I use it before bed and in the morning. It feels very thick but after about 15 minutes it is wonderfully absorbed. It leaves a shininess at first but once again the absorbstion takes care of that...AND it lasts forever. I also mix it into my homemade body lotion. Will use it as long as it works. I've since had compliments as to how my face looks. Also it doesn't seem to promote pimples or breakouts and is very helpful for patches of eczema which I've had my entire life. Less now. Much less. Update 10/17/20 This stuff gets better and better. My son has been struggling with acne. At first it seemed to cause more whiteheads but then started clearing the acne. It was almost as if it performed a slight detox before working really well. It's still the only moisturizer I use on my face.

Superb Shea Butter to Stock Up On!
This butter is delightful to use. The aroma is pleasant and mild. It’s really soft AND softening on my skin. The high quality of this butter is consistent from the top of the full jar to the edges of a nearly empty jar. I have purchased it 3 times and will purchase multiple jars if/when it becomes available, again. Thank you, Sky Organics for this great shea butter!

This is one of the good choices but still have some questions that are not answered, yet.
I purchased this not for myself, but for wife to use as her friends suggested it would be very useful for the skin, especially since we are expecting a new baby coming. Her friends, however, suggested a different brand than this one. I had to do my research as usual before purchasing any thing since I am a little over anxious regarding such products. I wanted to know what the Shea butter exactly is, what is made from, and the degree of the company's honesty regarding the labelled ingredients on the product. (By the way, I started using it after I've seen the effects it had on my dead, dry skin on parts of my feet and on eczema on my hands due to excess exposure to detergents) I came up to the conclusion that this company could be the most trustworthy based on not only customer reviews but also lab works that were completed by a third independent party that is not affiliated to the company by any means. To be honest, at first I was attracted to this brand of Shea butter because of the remarkable plenty and positive reviews that exceeded a thousand and one hundred. I than read most helpful reviews to the product and learned some ew amazing things about the ingredients which lead me to extend my research of the usefulness of Shea butter in general and of this product specifically. Of the health benefits of Shea butter that I found online is that it "is a skin superfood that comes from the seeds of the fruit of the Shea (Karite) tree and that is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F. It offers UV protection (it is SPF ~6) and provides the skin with essential fatty acids and the nutrients necessary for collagen production. Shea butter has been used in Africa and other countries for years to improve skin and hair." I found that the best Shea butter is the raw, unrefined, and organic one (Grade A Shea butter). Refined Shea butters that are odor free and bleached to be completely white, but the refining process removes some of the beneficial properties. An unrefined Shea butter means it has not been filtered and may contain trace particles of the Shea nut. A useful tip that I read and tried is to gently heat it until it just melts and then pour through a cheesecloth or strainer to remove any particles. Once strained, pour the Shea butter into silicon molds in pre-measured amounts (tablespoons, 1/4 cup, etc) so that it is ready to use for natural beauty recipes (you can further read about good qualities of Shea butter here as a start [...]. Or you can simply google "the benefits of raw, unrefined Shea butter and there you will read about some excellent products by name that were laboratory tested and proven (you can test it yourself if you wish with no need for lab work and by simple steps. Here is a good and short (five minutes) video that I like which explains the differences between Shea Butters [...] Enjoy watching and be healthy. I rated this product a four stars **** because 1) I could not find answer to why is this Shea Butter is not YELLOW? 2) how were this Shea Butter processed? and 3) the smell is not pleasing; I have to take a shower after every use. For these questions and exclamation I took a star. I rated it four stars because of the positive effects that I've seen on my dry skin and eczema. Please let me know if you think my review of the product is helpful. Thanks!

Truly works!
Once you get past the work of scooping the butter out of the container and getting it ready to apply by rubbing it between your hands, it smooths easily on your body. There is a mild nutty or almost smokey scent when first applied but the scent goes away quickly. I put it on immediately after patting myself dry from the shower and apply a hyaluronic acid based moisturizer over it to help "seal" in the moisture. My body then stays moisturized feeling for the full day. For reference I am a 58 year old woman, with a tendency to have drier, crepey looking skin. This shea butter has truly changed the feel and appearance of my skin. What a bonus that it is organic and sustainably made!!!

In a word, awful. (Updated)
I don't know if I received a bad batch or if my jar was old, but I literally could not use this butter ("butter"). It is so hard and stiff that I can not use my finger to get any of the product on my hand. I ended up using a kitchen utensil to test it.... GOODNESS! I'm actually grateful that I couldn't use it when I first tried because this stuff STINKS! It is not an odor that I want on my hands, much less my body. An absolute waste of money. Truly, there is nothing positive that I can say about the product. UPDATE - The seller contacted me to offer a replacement, which I accepted. The replacement jar arrived very quickly.. the video I posted is from my first jar and the images are from the second jar. The replacement jar, as with the first one, was wrapped in plastic shrink wrap and there was a foil seal under the cap... so, I do not believe the issues are related to poor storage.. I'm not sure which jar is worse, though... I finally identified a way to describe the odor - it smells like the powder from the inside of a latex balloon or gloves. Maybe that's what it is supposed to smell like? Unfortunately, I maintain my negative opinion of the product... however, the seller is fantastic. I am appreciative of their efforts to bring me a sense of satisfaction with my purchase... I have already scheduled the return and both jars will be on their way back to them soon.

Smells
This Shea Butter smells so bad. A lot of Shea Butter smells bad but this one had me insecure to leave the house for sure. Probably wont be buying again not because its not good quality but because the scent is too strong. Apply this when you know youre not going outside because LORD. (Only purcahsed because the one I wanted was out of stock.

LOVE THIS so much!
About 11-12 weeks into my pregnancy, my husband bought this for me, after a b-ch session I had with myself and the wall about my fear of stretch marks. (I already have them from my Division I sports playing, Hulk days). When it came, I was nervous because I was at the tail end of my morning sickness, EVERY new and strange smell made me sick as heck, and I read about some people not liking the smell. I was so scared of the smell ruining this for me. BUT when I opened it, the smell was a mild nutty earthy smell. I'd never smelled anything like it, and my finicky bubble guts was ok, so I slathered it on my belly and cans, and then put a cocoa butter and other smelly friends lotion over it. After the 3rd day of putting this on morning and before bed, the smell just went away to me, and I actually started really liking it by the end of the week! I am ALMOST to the preggo finish line, and while I know that stretch marks are genetic, this wonderful stuff REALLY packs on and in the moisture, and helps me to feel like Im doing everything that I can to stave off and hopefully prevent (fingers crossed) stretch marks. I use the flat side of my nail to roll it off, as it's a paste consistency, and then 5 seconds between my palms melts it down to be rubbed on. Using this liberally twice a day for the last 23-24 weeks, I will buy another jar when it's empty. Ive got about 1/4 jar left, and will be using it regularly after pregnancy. I LOVE this stuff!!!
