Amazing watch
UPDATE: I know this isn’t a huge deal but the watch is fast a couple of seconds. I’ve had it less than a month and it’s not at the same level of my other Citizen. Not enough to return the watch but still a little annoying. This is my second watch by Citizen, my first being a Promaster Diver. I love this watch for a variety of reasons. First of all, I love the Eco-drive feature as I will never have to worry about my watch dying on me and changing batteries. It came uncharged right out of the box but started up within seconds (it did the 2-second tick). The watch itself is very nice looking and is not flashy. I like the black finish on the case and the matching finish on the buckle. Something else that I really liked was the tan (beige?) numbers and markings. It really gave it a vintage feel in my opinion. As for the strap, I read a lot of people were having issues with it being short. It fits my wrist with two holes left over so it fits but I wish it was a little longer so I could put the extra band through the loops. I am not a huge fan of canvas but this one feels nice and isn't itchy. The band is a bit stiff but I'm hoping it will soften up as it gets worn.Since the numbers aren't flush to the rim of the case (there is a bezel), the watch wears smaller than 43mm. I appreciate this as I was worried that it would look oversized on my wrist. Additionally, some people mentioned that the second hand wasn't lining up correctly with the markings. I didn't have this issue at all. A leaflet came in the box telling me how to register it and how to set the time/date.Overall, I would highly recommend this watch. I got this watch for $140 in April 2020.

Great watch. Looks nicer in person.
Just recieved and currently charging in my custom eco-drive charging station that I use for all of my other Citizen watches. Looks better in person than in the pictures. Great dial and features. Citizen eco-drive is my go-to "cheap" watch brand and this is a fine edition to my collection. Equal in quality to my World Chronograph AT at half the cost (obviously this watch doesn't have radio-set atomic time setting).Feels smaller than 43mm when comparing it to my Tag Formula One Gulf which is a pleasant surprise for my relatively small wrist.Band is comfortable and the length is the same as all Citizens as it feels shorter than most other brands but fine for my scrawny arms.I purchased this watch a few years ago for my father-in-law on sale at $140 and wish I would have just ordered another one for myself then instead of paying almost $100 more after the fact. After seeing the watch, the $230 price seems fair but I'm kicking myself for not saving when I had the chance!

Its a very good watch
I've seen many reviews on this watch that seem to come from those who are misinformed. Be aware of what this is. Its an EcoDrive. That means it is solar powered, which is its only supplied power source (charges a special battery). Many of of the reviews I've read mention different reasons why they think it failed. One being that the second hand didn't line up with the second marks. One being that it always skipped seconds. One being that it was dead right out of the box. It didn't keep accurate time, etc... I suspect some of you know where I'm going with this. Again, its solar powered. It would have been packaged in a box for potentially months. Many of the complaints are based on the fact that the watch didn't have sufficient time to charge. PUT IT IN THE SUN FOR A DAY, set the time after, then just don't hide it in the dark. Its an everyday wear, which is what EchoDrives are supposed to be. Keep it in the light. It doesn't even need to be direct sunlight.Forgive the rant, but all of the above issues are how the watch performs after sitting in the pitch dark for months or longer. I.E. the dark box that it comes in. My watch did these things too. A day and a half later and it works great (had to adjust the time). I watched a Youtube video of an "expert" making these same claims, even going so far as saying it was his last Citizen, because after he sent it in for replacement, the new one did the exact same things... when he pulled it out of... the... dark... box... that... it's... shipped in. My favorite is the MANY complaints that the band is too short. Its a standard length band. I'm 6'3", 215lbs. There's nothing about me that's small. It fits me just fine. Band will require some break in time like many others. Its a tough band.I rarely write reviews. I write them when I think its important. Its a good watch. Its a good watch. Its not a great watch... those cost great money.

Solid Field Watch
You can't go wrong with this watch. I picked it up on sale for $139.99. For that price, it's hard to complain about anything really... But I'll say the good and bad below. The fit and finish of the watch is great. The hands and numbers are big and very easy to read. The small dials also display very useful info and are well laid out. The watch is sharp looking and is just the right size. The SS bezel adds durability. The band - just go ahead and order a replacement ahead of time. Note that this watch takes a 20mm, not 19mm. The band looks kinda cool, but is too tacticool IMO. It's also a bit scratchy and is difficult to take on and off. For $20, the Barton Silicone bands are hard to beat. I went with smoke grey.My only other complaint are the glowing hands. Owning a Luminox in the past, I was hoping they'd be a bit brighter. They get the job done, but if the room isn't completely black, you'll have trouble seeing the hands glow. They also seem to glow brighter when the watch is fully charged from some sunlight. Not a deal breaker, but you're not going to grt Luminox brightness in the dark. All in all, great watch for the money. I'll update back if I have issues.
