worked great in a non-perfect scenerio.
I was concerned about using this kit to install another brand after-market wheel I had from the '70's. See pic. Made by Superior Performance Products and called "The 500". But i contacted Grant and after a couple of emails back and forth, they gave me dimensions and pictures of the mounting holes with their kit and based on my measurements of my wheel, it looked pretty good. I rolled the dice, ordered the kit and it fit and worked perfect! My old wheel is now happily doing duty with my new, old '65 Beetle. Thanks Grant!

Fitment missing,
Not applicable for '71 VW Superbeetle, no provision for 6 hole mounting, Also, insulation ring missing.

It worked
62 VW Ragtop, the original wheel fit on the shaft splines very tight, replaced it because the plastic was cracked and broken in spots. This adapter fit was actually sloppy but it wouldn't jump splines which was what I was concerned about. As mentioned in other reviews the wheel-to-adapter bolts were very close to the center nut making it difficult to tighten, allan head bolts would have worked better; but once everything was tightened down all was good.
