Make sure you get the right dose for you or it will backfire!
Ok. I have been taking meltonin for a long time now and not everyone will have the same results with the same dose. Many people are sensitive to melatonin and it can do the opposite and make you extreamly restless if you get to much. Start with the lowest dose possible and go up from there. If you take two pills you are getting 4 mg of melatonin and that may be way too much for some people. When I was younger, I would take 1mg of melatonin when I had a hard time sleeping. I still only use it when I go to bed late and can't fall asleep. But now that I am much older I need a higher dose. I take 2 pills and it works fine for me. If you are younger you probably need less. What I like about this brand is that they added Gaba and L-Theanine and the combo really works well for me. But none of that matters if you only need 1 mg of melatonin this brand's formulation won't work well for you.

Great sleep aid
I have been using Melatonin for a couple years now and have tried different kinds of Melatonin brands... since menopause hit me... I get frequent hot flashes while sleeping so I wake frequently. Since using this product, I wake up not feeling groggy or having the foggy head feeling. I sleep better and am able to fall back to sleep. I recommend this product.

How to manage your insomnia with Revive
REVIVE will work for you if you have GABA deficiency. That determination can only be made by trial & error. Melatonin supplementation by itself produces erratic results. Results from REVIVE may not be realized overnight. It is necessary to take it consistently for three to four weeks. The 8 hour sleep period is divided into 3 sleep cycles each lasting 2hrs and 40mins. At the end of each sleep cycle, the brain comes to a near wakeful state. Younger folks have the ability to shift position momentarily and enter the subsequent sleep cycle, thus sleeping uninterrupted for 8 hours (the ideal to achieve for all). For older folks & insomniacs, this is not an easy feat. Invariably one is kicked into a wakeful state at the end of the first sleep cycle and sleep is interrupted. Revive is incapable of bridging that gap. However, it is instrumental in providing deep & quality sleep, WHEN you are able to remain asleep. The overall quality of sleep one enjoys is directly dependent on physical activity during the preceding wakeful hours. Insomnia is a direct consequence of inactivity. The solution is therefore clear. One must have appreciable physical activity during the day. How much is required? Your body tells you how much is needed for you to be able to sleep. Experiment with changes in lifestyle. Maintain a sleep diary. Record in it the time you go to bed and the times you wake up. Score your sleep quantity by the number of sleep cycles you realize each night. Score can be 1,2, or 3. 1 is poor, 2 is yet sleep deprived & 3 is good. Use < > to obtain further calibration. Sleep quality on the other hand is a qualitative & subjective description of how well rested you feel and how refreshed you are when you wake up in the morning. REVIVE is an essential modulator of both sleep quantity & quality. All preceding based on self study, experimentation and experience. The cause remains Physical Inactivity.

Effective
The directions say to take 2 capsules, but I've only been taking 1 since I have MTHFR and I was concerned the full dose of Melatonin might be too much for my system. 1 capsule is working for me, I've been sleeping much better. If I didn't have to get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night because I drink so much water, I would probably be able to sleep the entire night without waking up!

Terrible. Had the opposite effect and led to a restless night.

No anxiety while falling asleep
So far so good! I took one capsule before bedtime and within 35 minutes I was asleep! It usually takes me 4+hrs to fall asleep so 35 minutes was pretty shocking. With other OTC sleep aids I will suddenly start to feel very drowsy, fuzzy, and anxious, but this supplement is different! This sleep aid works gradually and feels like a slow comforting release of anxiety and sleeplessness.

Beware…unreturnable
You have to take 2 capsules just to get 2 mg of melatonin. I have taken other blends with similar ingredients and usually 3mg melatonin in 1 tablet. For whatever reason this does nothing for me. I was trying to find a new one since my current blend is discontinued. I’ll have to keep looking.
