I did a lot of research before buying this. Although cheaper options were available there seems to be a mixed bag in terms of reliability and this product came with a 3 year warranty.The install was so easy - I have a wooden lid as part of the cabinet and my tank has a glass lid so using the supplied brackets I have just tested the light on top of the glass but with the brackets it’s not touching.The light itself was a huge difference from my old one - crisp white light that brings out more of the colours in my fish. I also liked the fact I can set up the time and effects simply by using the app which connects to the light via Bluetooth - no complicated instructions to follow! Cheaper versions would have meant that I would have also needed to by a single channel timer and set this up separately.It is easy to set the sunrise, sunset and night time to come on and off when needed. It’s also great to see the light gradually come up and down at either end of the day rather than a harsh on and off.The special effects section is fun - although from what I can see you can’t set different effects on different days - I’ve used the thunderstorm and cloudy settings so far.Overall it’s a great product, and worth the bit extra for the quality (metal LED housing), reliability and warranty. The app is easy to install and makes setting up and using the product so easy!

This is the third set of lights I have running in three aquariums. They are expensive but are very good and have lots of lighting setups so you can choose how to light your aquarium

Amazing light my second one for my other aquarium ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. But delivery all I can say that it was sent with no packaging not even in a bag. Just a sticker on the box. It would be different if it was delivered by Amazon but this was sent though the Royal Mail. It’s lucky it got here It’s lucky. It’s not broke.

Bought this as a replacement for my previous Aquasky (not bluetooth) which lasted for a long while. It kept the red light on when manually switching off the light.I was a little anxious about setting it up but it is actually fairly straightforward -The main page in the app is the same as the old remote control.I am so happy that I no longer have to use my add-on Fluval timer as sunrise and sunset can be programmed in the app. I especially like the ability to set the length of time for sunrise, sunset and moonlight. I have set 40 minutes for sunrise and 30 minutes for sunset, then 1 hour of moonlight before fishy sleepy time.The RGB & white levels can be adjusted in increments of 1% each so thousands if not millions of light combinations! Takes a little tinkering to get the right settings but not complicated.I definitely use this as I find the presets are too bright, my scaly kids would go blind at feeding time.If you want to program effects (lightning, cloud etc) into your daytime settings you can but be aware they are at the standard presets and brightness can't be adjusted so if like me you have lower lighting the tank will actually get lighter for these - it is not in sync with your settings, so I find this defeating as it shouldn't get lighter to become cloudier! (Maybe for Fluval to include in future?).Now I can have the exact light settings I need not rough estimates. I have created 3 main settings - standard, cloudy and brighter for when I'm cleaning the tank. Also no need for a timer and no more extra cables and wires/sensors.For reassurance the light works in accordance with the last setting so if you go out it will follow what you programmed it to do - don't worry it will not stay on/off until your bluetooth is in range.

Best fish tank light iv bought wouldn’t not swap for anything else that’s why I bought 3 so far for my tanks it’s so easy to set up just take the light out the box and put on your tank download a app that does everything for you never again do you have to turn it on/off it does it for you or no big chunky automatic switch socket, make your own time set up on the app loads of different colours Lightning affect loads! Works great with plants and there a plant growth setting, would recommend!

The light comes with all the relevant connections in the box, I simply removed the LED lights (which were marine) and fitted the light strip in its place (Using the black connectors) the auto mode is in place the moment you download the FluvalSmart app from the google store. This is great as it does sunrise, daylight, sunset, night, and Sleep straight away for you. I liked the inclusion of the Nightlight out the box. as this is on a par with the much more expensive Juwel HeliaLux 1000, this model also requires an additional controller. However, the Aquasky uses the app and Bluetooth, which so far has worked without a single issue (Some reviews mention this dropping out) There is so much more that can be done with this application, you can change each light setting independently and then you have the storm setting, which is amazing, my little boy of 3 loves this, and despite my concerns the fish are not bothered if you put this on for a very quick go. All in all I have to say this is a wonderful light and I will be looking to get another one for the back. If like me you have a Juwel tank you can use there site to ascertain the size of the light you need.

Preciosa lud lez para mi acuario de 150 litros. Lo que más destacaría es el efecto amanecer y atardecer que hace que la luz aumente y disminuya gradualmente. El hecho de poder programar todas las fases, la intensidad etc también es fenomenal. En mi caso tengo programado que la luz esté apagada durante la noche.

Goede verlichting voor een bak met planten met een lage tot medium licht eis. Veel instellingsmogelijkheden. Goede lichtopbrengst en kleur eigenschappen. Zeker een aanrader!
