Small but mighty
This water heater is surprisingly small, but in a small studio apartment, One sink, one bathroom, one washing machine it does the trick. One problem we had is after I installed it I ordered the same brand maintenance valves so that we can flush the system as required, but it turns out you need smaller valves. Check your pipe sizes before you order maintenance valves

Worth it!
Pretty happy with this so far. We have a weekend house and space was tight. Was skeptical about how well this would work…it is a champ so far. Been about 6 months. Amazed at how easy it installs (I am an electrician) and how compact it is. Keeps up even while showering! Pleasantly surprised!

Unit quit working after 1 year. Rheem refused to accept return and refund me.
The small Rheem Tankless water heater I ordered on May 3, 2023 quit working one year later. I immediately went online and purchased the exact same unit again, planning to return and get a refund on the old one once it was removed and the new one replaced. When I contacted Rheem to get a return authorization and refund, they said they would not take it back and I should keep it and use it for replacement parts! REALLY? That was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. They said I should have called when the old one quit working so they could troubleshoot over the phone. I barely know where my water heater is located and certainly was not prepared to crawl around under the sink to figure out why their defective product quit working. I simply called the plumber to remove the old one (just 1 year old) and replace it with the new one I'd ordered. Now I'm stuck with a used Rheem Tankless water heater that doesn't work. I'LL NEVER BUY ANY RHEEM PRODUCT AGAIN. If that's how their customer service responds, in the future I will go with another manufacturer who stands behind their product without excuses!

Nearly instant hot water
If your water heater is a long way off plumbing-wise then you know how long, aggravating, and wasteful it is to run the tap till you get hot water. This unit provides *warm* water after about 7-8 seconds and is fully heated after 15 seconds vs. the nearly two minutes we used to wait. I lollygagged for three years before I finally bought one of these on-demand heaters.Only thing is these on-demand heaters need a dedicated 240 Volt 60 A circuit and uses 6 ga wiring. You aren't plugging this thing into any regular outlet. Wire this thick, stranded of course, was still quite difficult to get connected to the interior terminals due to having to bend to fit inside the unit. But once installed it's doing what I wanted.

11 KW is fine for a smaller home.
The bad: Product was missing wire holder and crimp mechanism for keeping the cable in place and without stress. But this is a returned item, although the description did not say anything was missing. The GREAT: When I installed it and finally found how to wire it, the water temp was GREAT. I really like that it only uses electricity when water is flowing and it does not take but about 30 seconds to warm up to 125 degrees at the faucet. This size is great for a tiny home with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen and one shower.I would have given it 5 stars but for the missing hardware. Wiring it is 240 Volts, Black to one terminal, red to second terminal green yellow or white to ground, and using a 40 amp 2 pole circuit breaker black on one side and red on second side and green or white wire to ground. (depending on how many wires your cable has).I have been using it for 4 days and it works great, glad I switched from a tank system.

Energy efficient and works great
We have been using this unit for over a month and it works great. It heats the water within seconds and it is so much more energy efficient than our old unit which is constantly heating 50 gallons. I feel like the whole world needs to go to these and leave the dinosaur hot water units in the past. We are always looking for simple ways to live better and this fit right into that equation. We only have one bathroom so the 11v is plenty for our needs. If you are supplying hot water to multiple places at once then you may consider a larger unit. If you can manage your use to varied times a smaller unit would likely still serve you well. Doing our part to save resources!

AWSOME so far
This is an AWSOME water heater so far. I am using it for a studio/in-law apartment above my 3car garage. It supplies a shower, bathroom sink and kitchen sink without a problem. I used stainless steel braided flex lines for inlet and outlet lines, that made install easy. I does require allot of power , 60 amp breaker and # 6 wire so just be aware of that before purchasing. I have a 200 amp service so that was not a problem for me. As long as it lasts it is a great buy for the money.
