Great machine.
The machine works great and feels good in the hand. I wasn't impressed with the ink, but I'm very selective with what inks I use. Overall, a great set. Would order again.

Not just another wormhole machine. The Auriga rocks!
The Auriga by wormhole is a solid machine! The motor is strong on this one and though it puts out some vibration, i find it to be a great machine for lining and especially for shading. .1 increments for voltage is a nice plus as I’ve never been a fan of anything other than that. I like setting the machine to exactly where i need it to be. It has different modes and i very much appreciate the dot mode in this machine as dot work style is what i primarily do.The machine has some weight to it for sure and it’s on the thicker side, but it still feels good in the hand. I don’t have big hands but i don’t have tiny ones either. My glove size is a L/XL just to give you some perspective on how this machine feels to me. I think hands of my size and larger would definitely be right at home with this machine’s size. People with smaller hands may have trouble holding this. This machine lines like butter - it puts it down real easy. Going slow and letting the machine do the work is the way to go for the lining with this one. Don’t get impatient, trust me, going slow is the ticket. The shading is even smoother with this machine. The kit comes with all the standard stuff to get you started. You’re definitely going to want to order more supplies though because it’s a basic kit. The real star of the show here and what you’re paying for is mostly the machine, b/c the machine is GOOD! At the price point, i would like to see a bit more with it, however the price point is justified because this machine is worth it. Definitely get this, it’s a keeper for sure!

Good for learning
There’s a lot to like here, especially if you’re new and looking to skip the power supply and cord situation. The machine is on the heavier side and has a chunkier grip than I’d prefer, but it’s still balanced and feels solid in hand. The LED screen is bright and easy to read at a glance — it shows voltage, battery, and total runtime, which is surprisingly useful. Being able to switch between 5 stroke settings is a standout feature, and it makes a noticeable difference when jumping from lining to shading. The adjustable voltage range (4V–12V) gave me enough flexibility for crisp lines and soft blends without struggling. As for the included extras, they’re better than most starter kits — the needle cartridges actually held ink well and the practice inks worked fine on fake skin. I wouldn’t use the kit inks or needles on real skin, but for learning or improving technique, this is a well-rounded and capable setup.

weighty, but comfortable
I have been into tattooing for over 30 years. This is my second cartridge tattoo machine and the first cordless one. At first it felt heavy in the hand because of the thick size and having the battery. I like that you have to push and hold the power button to turn it on as hate to come to use it and find the battery dead because it came on be accident. once you hold it in your hand you begin to feel as it is just the right size. Speed is adjusted by the voltage and it can go from 4.0v - 12.0v. It felt good and smooth throughout the entire range. The machine has a twist adjust depth settings on the body of the machine. It has 5 depth settings to choose from depended on how you work and if you are doing an outline or shading. The screen is nice and bright so you can look at it and see all of your needed information like voltage and battery life. The kit came with some small ink bottles that won't do a whole lot, but will be great for the practice skin that you get in this kit as well. Couple of pages of transfer paper, gloves, wrap and ointment are included. It is nice to be able to have practice skin to try out new equipment with.So if you do not mind a little heft to your tattoo machine to be cordless, you will find this is a new fit. It is thicker than my other machine, but now I just don't have to put the extra layers of wrap on it. You will like the smooth feel in the hand, it seems like I will be less fatigued from the vibrations while using this tattoo machine.

Great for learning!
So far, so good! I am new to learning the art of tattoo, and wanted something portable that I can use when I have free time to learn and practice. Everything you need to get started is included in the kit, including colors, cups, and needles. Comfortable to hold!
