This was another "bought on other customers' word" purchase, and I'm happy to say my fellow reviewers here steered me right again! I run two 3D printers as a tinkerer and hobbyist, so I handle 3D printer filament often. For a few reasons I won't elaborate on here, since I'll carry off on tangents, I do need to snip a piece of filament regularly. I bought a set of Stanley pliers, and I've had to heavily sharpen the jaws of the diagonal cutters that were in the set to make them of much use, but I use those for electronic wire clipping. I bought another set of pliers from Harbor Freight tools, and I got what I paid for..... The cutting edges were WAY out of alignment, to the point they're nearly unusable as cutters. But to my sudden surprise, I discovered they work really well for removing melted filament off my printer's nozzles!! So I didn't take them back to the store. But I wanted some SHARP cutters to cleanly cut, not crush, my 3D printer filaments. Again, I bought these based on reviews, and these work fantastically for my purpose! These pliers are startlingly sharp! I've been using them constantly in the few weeks I've had them and have always been impressed. While I haven't used these to cut any harder materials (like small bolts or screws) I do agree with other reviewers that doing so would wear these pliers out really quickly. The jaws on these pliers are literally sharpened like scissor blades, so they shear material like scissors do, rather than crush-shear materials like diagonal cutting pliers usually do. If you're needing a good set of diagonal cutting pliers to cut hard material, these may not be for you. But if you need really sharp pliers to cut softer materials, these are worth checking out!

These wire cutters have met all my cutting needs at the moment. Some of complained that they are not capable of cutting super hard wire and that may be the case; if you need professional grade wire cutters ,you're going to have to pay more money for them. For the average user who cuts nothing harder than maybe a coat hanger now and then these will do the trick for you. Just keep in mind if you cut anything really hard you may damage the cutting surface. They cut very close and are good flush cutting pliers. If something happened to these, I would buy another pair since they are inexpensive.

Good heavy duty cutters with fine tip for precise cutting but that fine tip is also the problem. In the way that I use these cutters I’m cutting wire at the very tip of the cutters because of the space limitations. I’m using them on. After just a couple weeks, those tips have now become slightly misaligned so that they now no longer cut as easily as when the cutters were new. I am able to continue to use them, but just not quite as easy as when I first got them. If and when I need new cutters, I will likely try a different set, but these are good for now and I don’t intend to return them, because in reality, not sure that I would find any better.

My husband makes decorative items out of copper wire and I bought him these BOENFU 6 Inches Wire Cutters so he could cut the ends of the wire flush to make better joints on his projects. They are a perfect size for this application, they work good, aren't heavy and open and close good. The price was also good and they seem to be of good quality. He hasn't had any trouble with them yet.

Absolute garbage. I've used these <10 times total, almost exclusively for 3D printing stuff (i.e., cutting PLASTIC). The first time I cut SOLID CORE COPPER WIRE there was a huge nick in them. Copper wire, really???? I can bite through that. Then I think I used them to cut a sharp bit of a staple that was stuck in a stack of papers. (Not a wood/construction staple!) That broke the tip clean off. Since then, I used them exclusively for cutting thicker bits of plastic/supports that my small flush cutters couldn't handle, which is super rare. I just noticed the shape they're in, and it's almost comical. I can to buy a new pair and saw the "Purchased on xx" on these and had to leave a review. Stay away. Super cheap, but youll need a new pair after the first use. Considering they can't handle plastic, I'd say the versatility is awful. I guess they're "comfortable," as comfortable as rubber dipped tools can be. Oh, and the spring fell out the second time I used them. There is nothing securing it in, and if you open them too wide, they're no longer spring loaded unless you're able to find it.

These are by far the best wire cutter pliers I have ever purchased! I'm super particular with these sorts of things, and when I got these I was honestly surprised How well they are built and how sharp they are!! They cut seamlessly through many different materials that I use them for. I use these a lot... And they do not dull quickly / they haven't even dulled at all since I've been using them (frequently). When I received these wire cutters, I quickly purchased a second pair of them because of how much I love them. Excellent value for the money. The grip on the handle is perfect. The spring action open is so convenient and works very well. They are also very well aligned right up to the very tip.
