Accurate and Quality test strips
These test strips were accurate but the fact that a positive result is just 1 line instead of 2 threw me off. They worked well in determining if I had ovulated which was something I wanted to rule out. Have been trying to conceive so these strips were helpful in determining what was going on during my cycle. Highly recommend these to anyone trying to conceive.

Pretty good
I'm so glad I found these. I always had trouble with the other brand strips (P***v). These worked much better amd were affordable, though I wouldn't recommend reading past the 5min mark, and even that's a little long for me. I left the first strip out by mistake and it started reading negative, despite my blatant sypmtoms of high progesterone. I do still prefer to do blood work for a more accurate result, but these still work great. I do wish they included enough strips to test at least twice a day, since progesterone fluctuates throughout the day. Still recommend!

Comparison Tested and approved in my book
Update: I did a comparison test of this brand and p****v on 3dpo and they both were comparable. I did notice this brand being slightly lighter but still with the same intensity of barely being there. 4dpo I did the same test and sadly both strips indicated a drop in pdg, maybe was because it was noon time urine, I do not know but I believe these tests to be accurate. Itโs just so many variables to consider time of day, dpo day, concentration of urine. My recommendation is to purchase them but back it up with a doctorโs serum level if you are seriously concerned with your ability to ovulate. Changed to 5 stars :) Original review I did a baseline test and it had a second line. I thought it should be darker but it was dark. Then I tested on Ovulation day to make sure the second line was there and it was. Then on 2dpo I tested again just for giggles to see if there was any change because I know when my body releases an egg. It hurts pretty bad. HOWEVER, no giggles were had, the test was almost positive. Like the line was barely there. I was in shock. I have had this happen on 3dpo using another brand but still it is not the norm for me at all as I've struggled with low Progesterone. So then I read the reviews on here and discover the sensitivity levels are all over the place with these tests which makes me a lil sad because I thought my body was doing good all by itself this time. So I ordered the other brand to do a comparison hopefully on 3dpo or 4dpo, depending on when it comes in and I will update this report. I gave it 3 stars because at least was cheaper and it changed colors. I know that sounds lame but its the truth.

Worked as advertised! Great for extra reassurance.
I'd never used a PdG test before so getting used to a positive result without a test line present was an adjustment, but these are amazing! Just wish they came with more (or that I ordered more when I first saw them on sale). I did a test during my follicular phase (light pink line) and then during ovulation to ensure they worked properly. It confirmed progesterone levels where they should be! It helps that I also have an Oura ring and NC which showed a rise in temp, but these are perfect for the extra reassurance. and I had a blood test to further confirm my cycle phase since my miscarriage. Would highly recommend these and hopefully they bring them back!

Positive test strips despite low blood serum levels
I'm fairly sure these are inaccurate or defective. This picture is day 4 of my cycle. I struggle with low progesterone and never once got a negative for any of the 5 strips.. I tested on the day of ovulation, 3 days after ovulation 7 days after ovulation and then the day of the start of my cycle and today on day four of my cycle. Every single test showed up positive. I also had blood tests done, on the day of my ovulation it was 2.85. on the 7 days after ovulation (day 21 of my cycle) It was 7.6 and I was excited because I thought maybe it would be high enough for implantation. These kind of gave me false hope.. especially with it being positive when my serum one has to be so low. My previous follicular phase my progesterone was 0.89 which would be completely normal which is what it should be about right now but I should be getting the negative test on that strip. Do with it what you will.

Tricky to read but overall helpful
It works, but a bit tricky to read. A positive is only one line, unlike most other TTC tests. And like me, you might wonder how faint that 2nd line can be and still represent a negative. I took a test when I knew my progesterone was low as a baseline so you donโt have to - even with a true negative, that line is quite faint. To be positive, it has to be 100% absent.

User error is easy, sciencey fun, not for serious testing.
First photo is my bbt chart, second is the progesterone tests taken on 8/9dpo, top test is with FMU, bottom test is with afternoon 3-4hr hold urine. The afternoon before I also got a pale grey test line with a 3-4hr hold. Instructions say to disregard test line if it is not rosy pink, so I will count that as positive. User error is easy, take with a grain of salt, but also a fun tool to get more invested into hormone tracking. I'm four months post breastfeeding and although my cycles are somewhat regular I've been wanting to get more invested into balancing my hormones/ confirming ovulation. I use BBT(basal body temp) as well to confirm ovulation. My BBT post ovulation has been low(barely above baseline) and I purchased the tests to confirm ovulation had happened. My temps have slowly gone up since 5/6 DPO so with some research I'm suspecting I'm having a estrogen dominance issue in my luteal phase. If you're wanting extreme accuracy I would recommend in!t0 and or asking your doctor to test your progesterone on the appropriate days. The instructions say to use first morning urine like a pregnancy test, however progesterone spikes most commonly in the afternoon/evening time. You're more likely to get a more accurate result by using afternoon/evening urine with a 3-4hr hold with little water. The very end of the instructions says that if you see a pale grey line you should disregard it and count the test as positive(so act as if it's not there) and that a negative test is one that the test line specifically has rosy pink color. All of my positive tests thus far have had pale grey lines, and in fact turn pink by the 4 minute mark when I have bbt showing that my body is indeed responding to and reacting to progesterone in my system. I recommend reading the test results by 2 mins and not reading after 4. That pale grey line turns pink very quick, which also is misleading and in my opinion negates to accuracy of the tests. If you're in the thick of TTC and these tests could add stress I recommend going to your doctor instead, if you're curious and wanting loose confirmation that your body is producing progesterone then I would say it doesn't hurt. But just know the metabolized progesterone in your urine is not an accurate reading of if you have low or high progesterone levels in your luteal phase.
