First and foremost, this works!I heard about it on a medical radio show for Doctors. The surgeon said she used to laugh at all the claims about scar removal. Now she uses Silagen. The trick is to massage or rub the Silagen into the scar every day. This massaging is supposed to loosen up the collagen. I am not a doctor, but it makes sense to me...Lastly, this is a small container, but it lasts forever! You only need one bead of the gel on your finger. I am sharing it with my wife, but it may take a year or more to finish. So the price is actually pretty low.

Stats: currently 4 weeks post-op, gummy silicone implants (which if you are familiar with, leaves a longer scar since they are not as pliable as regular silicone), have been using Silagen for a week now. My PS recommended this gel to use at 3 weeks post-op and truthfully, I did not have high expectations for it. But wow, have I been shocked by its effectiveness! In just 1 week, my scars have decreased in bumpiness by at least half and I actually have sensation on those areas. This gel is incredible and I can not wait to see the results after the recommended usage of 8-12 weeks. I rub the gel in circles on the scars once in the morning and once after a shower. I wait for it to dry then proceed to dress. I use an amount that can be compared to a small split lentil on each scar and it has been working wonderfully. Love this stuff.

This stuff really helps. I ruptured my stomach aorta four months ago and have tried many products that did not help with my pain and the huge scar I have. I highly recommend it.
