Q: Did anyone else's smell horribly of chemicals when they first got it? I thought it was used for a second.

I just bought one - like the item but it smelled not like chemicals but more like rotting meat or flesh. Oh it was so unexpected!

Q: Replacement gasket for this washer?

Any hardware store should have the gasket and the size you need.

Q: What is the height of the inner cup with grate?

The large cup diameter is 3 inches and the small one is 2.5 inches. The depth of the cup is just over 2 /1/4 inches for both the large and small cups.
