I acquired one of these because of the longer handle, and because it didn't have a spring with the longer handle (something my father had, and the spring was easily damaged). I've been impressed by the quality. There literally only one "problem" I've had with it and it's that I occasionally have to push the wound-up cord back into alignment on the handle. No biggie.I liked it so much that when my new job required that I frequently swap shoes to steel-toed ones to go into the factory, I bought a second long shoe horn to reside in my office, making shoe swaps much quicker (I leave the laces tied).The metal is sturdy, and the cord comfortable. The longer length allows me to use it without a lot of bending, which really helps me after back injuries suffered in a car accident several years ago. I've even been able to use it while standing up, though with a modest amount of bending.

Not a bad shoe horn. Could be a little heavier metal but it works. Not quite as curved to fit my heels. A little flat compared to the ancient one I lost. But this is now and that was then. Pay more and get less!

I have a pair of slip on shoes that just don't slip on easily on one foot. So frustrating. So I'm wondering why it took me so long to figure out that I needed a shoe horn? I had one as a kid. (Who knows where that went?) But this one is FABULOUS! It's got a nice long handle so I can just bend over very slightly and slip my shoe on oh-so-easily. No more fighting the shoe and bending down the back of it. The horn is very sturdy and I anticipate that it will last forever. I'm so pleased with this. It even has a loop on it that allows me to hang it in my closet. Great product.

The shoehorn works perfectly and is a delight. Spending more money will not get a better result.

The shoe horn works great, but be careful if you use it with expensive after-market insoles. The metal wore through my insoles within a few uses. Just be careful to not let the shoe horn touch the insole while using it or iyou may have to replace your insoles before you're ready.
