Great purchase. Don't try the cheapies.
Excellent choice. We tried another that was just a waste of money for our Black Mouth Cur, but this is well worth the money. I highly recommend. Battery life could be longer, but she wears it about 14 hours a day. Lasts 2-3 days. Our trainer recommended it.

Training tool that works!
This product has help define the dog my puppy has grown into. My puppy wasn't terrible at listening, but often was more distracted at what was going on around us when we were outside. It helped grab his attention and keep him focused on my instructions. I live where there are wild animals, cars, snakes and plenty of other things that could potentially hurt a curious pup. This has helped keep him from harm, that my voice alone would not have many times over. It may be a bit pricey but the durability and the quality speak for itself. As long as you keep an eye on the battery and use it as its intended it works great. I did buy some other collars to attach this to, to get the fit just right. I am very thankful for this product and my dog truly loves to wear it. Most of the time now I can just use a command without even using the collars features because he has it ingrained into him now. I never have to turn it up much and usually a quick buzz does the job.

Great purchase!
Boyfriend loves it for his dog and it really works! Doesn’t hurt the dog and allows him to train the dog over long distances. Charges well.

Very nice collar, works well. Worth it.
This collar is very well built. I have a Doberman, very smart dog but he does get distracted a lot. He does love these collars, I love the range on it. He doesn't like the leash now. but will still wear it. Thinks hes a big boy now. (hes 1 year.) recall on the dog is amazing, doesn't respond to the low volt, I use the vibration, and he responds better the vibration, pups my vary :).Vibration : only have to tap 1.Shock: level don't work until 15 for my pup but don't like to use it.bungee system is very nice and easy :)(Little too long, for my Doberman, i have to put the extra part under the rest of the bungee so its not slapping him in the face.)Without collar:(Very distracted without collar)Tell him down - YesTell him sit - YesCome - Yes and NoStay - on his time lolListening for my dog is A+ before it was like a BWith Collar:Works with collar on (Don't even need to press the buttons.)Tell him down - YesTell him sit - YesCome - YesStay - YesMy pup loves collars, doesn't like me taking off his main to wash it.(I would just make sure that your dog is built for it. I have a American Bully that basically scared of his own shadow. Baby about everything. I would not put this collar on him just because I would never be able to put a collar on him again.)

Off leash Control | Highly Effective
This device is worth the money! We already had one for our other pup, but needing to control two shepherds at once was challenging, until now. We highly recommend this product.

Bad Design, Bad Customer Services.
I’ve owned Dogtra products and most are very reliable. I purchased the Tom Davis 280C with the bungee collar because my dog was/is young and still growing, and it worked… until it didn’t. DO NOT BUY THIS DESIGN FOR ACTIVE DOGS!I purchased the initial collar in February 2024. Four months later, she lost the collar in blackberry brambles while chasing a rabbitit (dogs will be dogs). After clearing nearly an acre of brambles and searching for the dang thing for nearly two months, I gave up and bought the replacement collar/receiver directly from Dogtra (another $150, thank you). While walking my dog today, she took off into the woods after a squirrel. I called her back almost immediately and, good girl, she returned WITHOUT A COLLAR/RECEIVER. I have now spent nearly $400 on this Dogtra product and have only a transmitter to show for it. The design is faulty as the collar’s bungee design loosens. I suppose if you walk in a town or a controlled environment, it may work. If you walk in woods, hike, on acreage, etc., you’d be better off with something else. Finally, when I called Dogtra to discuss the issue, the reply was, “sorry, we don’t do anything for replacements.” I definitely won’t be buying a Dogtra collar again. If you don’t stand behind your product, you don’t deserve my money.

Must have for disobedient dogs
They say you shouldn’t use this for an aggressive dog. But this has changed my 18 month old German Shepard’s whole attitude. He now listens to me and I don’t even have to shock that much. Just the warning buzz gets his attention. Cats are still a little hectic but the collar reminds him who is the boss. Definitely worth the money.
