Worked better than expected. Caught salt water bait fish, crabs, and shrimp.What I liked best is the size of the netting allowed me to catch extra small speciums for my salt water tank. Also the ability to fold up the net was wonderful. Takes up very little space in your car.Was a little worried about the zippers failing in the salt water but so far no problems withthe salt water.The only problem was the bait bag not holding up to the crabs. Very minor issue.Because of the waves from boats and tide currents I installed weights to help hold thethe trap in place. Love it.

Works very well for the money. I have caught several fish and turtles with no issues. The only problem is one of the nets delivered with a messed up zipper but still works.

Update: Drasry has messaged me back to try to remedy the situation. Will update (for now I upped the star rating to 3 for customer care)I must say this is a cool idea but it's an absolute failure as a fish trap. The zippered construction is a failure the zipper literally broke on the first use. HORRIBLE. I ended up having to throw it away because the zipper broke and the zip ties that hold the trap net to the body broke. The trap literally collapsed and just is a hot mess. I just threw it away because the zipper broke and the trap broke on first use. So bad

Had it in the water for 15 minutes with a piece of bread in it and caught over 30 minnows!

The trap seems pretty good design. The loop on top to attach your line is very thin. I tied the line to the metal frame. 3rd day I used it the bottom zipper broke. I zipped the top zipper all the way down. We will see how long it lasts.UPDATE: This trap is awful. I bought the trap to catch catfish. The smaller fish get their pectoral (side) fins caught in the mesh and it is very difficult to free them.The second zipper broke after using it one more time after the first zipper broke. The pulls came off and I don’t see how to put them back on. The zipper is the only way to close the mesh. It does not attach to the frame itself.I can probably wire the mesh to the frame and then zip tie the frame closed. But why should I have to after just using it a few times.Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this.

This minnow trap is similar to others I have ordered, but I would say the quality of the material was better than some others I have tried. They basically functioned the same, really the same design even, other than that it seemed like the folding process into a compact shape was really good, and that the quality of the material seemed sturdier. I would just rank this is a higher quality producer of this item than some others are. I did like the bright blue color better as well, but from a functional point of view, that doesn't do much; perhaps you can see it in deep water better. I would also note it came with a nice little fabric pouch that you could put the net back into when it is folded up. Overall, I'd say if you are going to buy one of these nets, it seems to be of decent quality, as this one compares favorably with 2 others I have used.

Zupper did not last 2 months. Separates and leaves trap open so useless after a short period of use. Worked great before this issue.
