Extremely high quality controller at a reasonable price point.
I bought this controller specifically for the adjustable joystick tension. I've seen a lot of complaints about the adjusting screws being under the face plate but I personally like this. It helps protect the screws from corrosion and prevents accidental adjustments. The controller itself is fantastic. I've spent hundreds on many many controllers. Thrustmaster, scuf, Xbox pro elite, etc. Up to this point, my favorite Xbox style controller was the Xbox brand series x controllers. The flydigi apex 4 has RAPIDLY become my favorite controller of all time and it's not even close. The snappy-ness of the sticks is smooth, yet tight. The tactile feedback of the buttons is very pleasant, the triggers aren't tactile but they are pressure adjustable and extremely smooth, the lights are customizable, the gif on the face of the controller is customizable, the grip is a little smooth for my liking but it is rubber and it is slightly textured.Overall I have nothing but good things to say about this controller. Would buy again!

Probably my new favorite
This is a very nice controller. Over priced but it is very nice. I think for the premium price, it should have included the optional charging base. Also at the price point I’d like to see better vibration in it. The build quality feels solid. The feature are very nice such as the tension adjustable sticks and the adaptive style triggers. I like how to customize the triggers and that there are presets for games but that is very limited. If you don’t want to set custom triggers yourself, I wouldn’t count on this one for the presets. Very few games on the list and you have to have it connected to the pc playing the games for it to work. The pc program to customize the controller was easy to use. LED lighting is minimal which is nice. The built in screen is small but useful. It shows information you need and even menus for changing settings. You can add custom gifs as well as seen in my photo. A little bonus is it includes little tabs you can scratch the coating off to make custom little tags that light up. It’s the blank lit up rectangle on the left side in my photo. Mechanical buttons are nice with good sound and function. Overall this is a good controller although over priced. I’d say wait for a sale.

Best controller I've used so far
This controller is honestly pretty wild. The overall layout is very Xbox-esque, because it's just good ergo, but the devil is in the details. The back macro buttons are positioned perfectly, the rubberizing is incredibly comfortable, and it has a nice heft to it.The adjustable tension joysticks are incredibly smooth at any tension setting, and adjustment is easy with the included tool hiding under the magnetic faceplate, on the opposite side from the swappable RGB scratcher plates. Both are unique concepts that really allow you to make the controller your own in both feel and look, respectively. The joysticks also look really slick in their own right. The force feedback triggers are soon to be the star of the show though. The adaptive settings still need some work and optimization, but I've already seen more games added to the supported list in the short window I've owned the thing. As such, I have high hopes, because they're incredible. I'll honestly spend 10 minutes just fidgeting with the triggers in their other settings menu because switching from a squishy racing trigger to a snappy sniper trigger with felt reset point and everything is just so entertaining. On tip of that, the triggers are transparent so you can see (and hear) the inner machinations engage and disengage when toggling force feedback. All clicky buttons function crisply and cleanly with no slop or mush. The rumble motors are very strong, and having them visible through the front cover was a fun design choice. The central display is really the cherry on top, working for both on the fly adjustment and displaying GIFs, including some good stock ones provided on their software. Said software is one of my only negative points, being slightly clunky, but it at least does provide all advertised features for personalizing your setup, and it supports a lot of their different controllers so... there is that.Other than that, the only real issue I have is that presentation is a bit barebones for the price. It's slotted for a phone holder that isn't included, it has gold plated pins for a docking station that isn't provided (though it does have USB-C and a nice braided cable and basic 2.4ghz dongle), and some competitors do start to provide carrying cases in this range. Also, for both being detachable, stick and D-Pad options not being included is surprising. Might just be me being greedy given the amount of very spicy tech packed in this thing, or maybe there's a more complete kit available that I'm just not aware of at the time of writing this. It is of note though. All said and done though, it's still arguably the best controller I've laid my hands on. A couple more accessories and this thing could own the game, if you'll pardon the pun. Get one.
