Good product.
Amazon shipped these in a plastic envelope. Needless to say they were crushed and useless by the time I got them. I got them fast, for what that’s worth. As far as the product goes, I’ve ordered these numerous times and they taste great. Lots of reviewers try and compare them to other products they have had in the past and claim they are not the same. DUH! They are not Penrose or Hannah’s or any of the others you have tried before, personally, I like them better than any of the ones I’ve tried in my lifetime. That obviously means that not everyone will like them as everyone’s tastes are different, which I’m sure some trolls out there are raging now that I’ve taken away their opportunity to express that fact. :-) Sorry trolls (not really).Anyway, I think target have a good balance of seasoning and heat. No heat does not equal flavor, sorry to destroy some people’s worlds with this fact (again, not really). Heat and flavor are two different palates. But this has a good complimentary balance of the two.

Disappointed
If you grew up with these in Louisville or some other Kentucky city, you will disappointed. The vinegar and hot pepper mix seems similar, but the "sausages" are nothing more than plain hot dogs (the jar is not the shorter size you will remember from back in the day--it is now as tall as hot dogs are long). As a result, the consistency is very mushy and not as firm or flavorful as the original product was. It is funny, because I actually remember, as a kid, trying to put plain hot dogs into the vinegar after all the sausages were gone, hoping they would taste the same after marinating in there for awhile. And they never worked. So it was like experiencing that all over again. Bummer.

Very very sour from vinegar
I’ve never had these before so I might have gotten a bad batch? But, the vinegar is very very overpowering, like hurt your teeth sour, and there was no heat at all to make them “hot”.

Never Again
Paid 18 bucks and received them on time but they were so old they actually disintegrated when I tried to get it one out of the jar I will never buy them again... very sad because they are normally so delicious
