Is one of these big enough for a man's blazer?

No i would say not as they are only 12 x 16 inches but you can get bigger sizes and they are very strong

Would these be good to send books in? I book swap and need to send two books at a time so just wondering if they’d fit?

I used mine to send large gaming books and they were a perfect size........I did use some bubble wrap aswell though to protect the books with only being plastic but I found them great value for money
